   I've eaten at Spirit Elephant many times, most recently with 3 omnivores who hadn't visited before. We all had a fantastic meal - i forced myself to try something new instead of reordering a tried and true favorite. Everything was great - of course we started with cauli wings, then had a bourbon burger, forbidden bowls, red curry and carrot cake. Next visit I'm trying the ribeye. The carrot cake was the best I've ever had in my life - pineapple and coconut and a very fresh citrus. The cocktails were also very special - my friend was amazed at the lilac beauregard transformation and we all hope the ranch water makes the jump from specials to full time menu. This was obviously my suggestion but my friends are now fans - and part time vegans!

   Celebrated a birthday here for my daughter who is vegetarian. Love the decor and bar area! They have a wide selection of drinks, including mocktails. We loved all our appetizers, cauliflower, brussel sprouts and "tuna" tartar. The entrees were good, but not as impressive as the appetizers. The gnocci was very douhy. The potato soup, mashed potatoes and twice baked potatoes did not taste like potato, which was disappointing. Everything is vegan, so if the menu item says chicken, it is a vegan "chicken" substitute. I would have liked knowing what the substitute for meat items were really made of. Would definitely go back and try different things off the menu. We were told they change the it seasonally, so another reason to make a repeat visit.

   I am as far from a vegetarian as you can get. Had been here with friends who were vegetarian before and remembered it being excellent. Brought our Indian friends hoping we were remembering correctly. It did not disappoint! This is our go-to place for friends who are vegetarian because I can find items that I enjoy. Service was outstanding. Food presentation is a work of art. Get the 14Carrot appetizer. Just that will make me come back. Forbidden bowl is my favorite with blackened tofu. Who does that? Even tried the Creme Brulee "cheesecake". Amazing! Place is worth going to. I can't imagine there is a better vegetarian option for meat eaters like me.

   Had a great dinner last night. Fantastic service and food - two of us are meat eaters and enjoyed the delicious meal. Don’t sleep on the margarita either! Jordan, the assistant manager, was going around the tables all night making sure everyone was happy, so friendly and a great conversationalist!

   The food was delicious and our server kind. I would have ordered a second glass of wine if she’d come around mid meal but by the time she came around, it was too late.

    All good except being charged $1.00 for mayonnaise with a burger on a bill that was over $200. Is just wrong .
