Spoon & Spindle is located in historic Orange, Virginia in a nearly 100 year old silk mill. Spearheaded by Chef Zachary Andrews, Spoon & Spindle serves seasonal menus for brunch, lunch, & dinner as well as ever-updating craft cocktails, local wines, and unique beers. Our current menu includes fan favorites like the Cochon de Bon, a French Creole inspired dish. Our current Chef's Specials also include Steak Frites, Étouffée, Crawfish Fried Rice, and much more. Our popular brunch menu includes favorites like the Hangover Hash, Ham Benedict, Breakfast Fried Rice, Chicken & Waffles, and much, much more. Had lunch on Thursday went back for dinner on Saturday and going again tonight for dinner. Just a superb little bistro restaurant. Great flavors and well prepared dishes. Great value and good portions.

This was my first time here, we enjoyed it very much. Beautiful dining room, good taste in music, excellent service and food. Definitely will be back. The chef's special was great, as was the bread pudding.

Everything at this place is great. Brussels sprouts appetizer, shrimp étouffée and short rib main courses, and bananas foster bread pudding and chocolate torte for desserts. They were all excellent dishes. The gal running the place (maybe the owner?) was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful as well. Will definitely be back if we’re this way again.

If you are near Orange VA, you have to try Spoon and Spindle. We had the Crawfish etouffee and honey gochujang short ribs. Both dishes were top chef quality. Absolutely the best lunch we have had in a long time. Service was also fantastic. Chef knows what he is doing.

Food was not great. Seems the chef was trying to make the food taste over the top by combining flavors with everything. It didn’t work. I would not recommend eating here.
