   Came here with my husband for date night and we were blown away by how good everything was. We shared a porterhouse with two sides (Mac & cheese and loaded mashed potatoes). We also got the wedge salad and I topped mine with the hot bacon vinaigrette. SO GOOD. Everything was delicious. Steak was cooked perfectly. The cocktails were also very good, my favorite was the maple rum punch. Our server, Mel was so sweet and attentive. This place is 10/10 we will definitely be back.

   Our waitress didn't listen to hear. She popped in and out and didn't bring me the French onion soup. She was one of those who you had to grab to get what you needed, and she didn't stay long as if you were wasting her time. The place is tight. There were a couple of people in there coughing; I am not sure if they had fans running. They had an outside location, but it was about 30 degrees last night, so there was no way I was going to opt for outside seating. Perhaps, I'll give them another try in the spring. The food was good, and it wasn't expensive, but I'm not sure if I'll be back. The White Russian wasn't as good as the one at Sir Winston, which is more tasty and festive. The crowd wasn't very diverse, which is interesting for Winston-Salem. I'd give the place an 8/10.

   Nice steak spot, but 2/3 steaks were overcooked. Carrot sides too sweet, macaroni and cheese just okay, stuffed mushroom appetizer was very good, all cocktails were spot on delicious. Service was very prompt and friendly. I would come again,but not my primary steak restaurant favorite. Such as Fratelli's or Angus Barn.

   Food is delicious and our server, Amelia, was great! Especially love their brussel sprouts! It's a small dining room and can get quite noisy, but still a delicious dining experience.

   The ribeye was cooked as ordered, the sea bass is delicious, the sides are sized generously and the beer is cold. Unfortunately, due to the front door not being able to be closed completely, the draft blowing in was also super cold, but they were kind enough to move us to a different/less arctic table.

   The ribeye steak was very salty, almost overwhelming. However, it was cooked to the right temperature which was good. The seafood bisque was not a bisque at all--more like a chowder. It had chunks of potato and corn in it. A bisque doesn't have chunks of anything in it except maybe some seafood. The potato fritters were a side special that were not special. Very bland, no seasoning, not cheesy- just a fried ball of bland mashed potatoes. Our server was nice enough but was either new or just couldn't write down an order correctly. The apple tart was delicious but that is hard to mess up. This is not a place for a quiet dinner but that is just the layout of the restaurant- many tables jam packed in a small space. Unfortunately, probably won't be going back. There are better steakhouses in this city. They really need to work on their seasoning skills.

   One of my favorite restaurants in Winston-Salem. A classy but warm environment accepted by exceptional service and delicious food. The crispy Brussel sprouts are elites.

   First time at Spotted Cow and I did not like it. I will not come back. Food taste was below expectations. I ordered the baby back ribs and they tasted dried, unflavored and burn out. I ate very little and brought them home to try to fix them. I found the prices too be on the high side. My wife ordered the sirloin which came slightly overcook. Not a great experience.
