   We were very impressed by the quality of the main courses. We had roast dinners, burger, grilled catch of the day and the chowder- and all of those were of a very high standard. We were perhaps a little disappointed by the Turkish Delight panna cotta, but it was perfectly ok, just not as impressive as the main courses. Our waitress was delightful, and extremely efficient and helpful. We will definitely return and recommend you to others.

   Deviated from fish for a change. The slow braised beef was delicious, hearty & plentiful. Lovely! Great staff & a nice buzzy atmosphere.

   This restaurant is OUTSTANDING! We were visiting from Leeds and had read some online recommendations and decided to give it a try and we love seafood. We were celebrating my husbands 30th and as soon as we walked in, we were welcomed and sat down with a free drink. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were well organised and the restaurant was well decorated and very clean. We ordered food and the service was exceptional. We chatted with staff members and felt very welcome. There was a specials board which we ordered from and the food was excellent. The food was fresh, locally sourced and was served in good time. The atmosphere was also homely, not too loud and very suitable for families and children even though be travelled as a pair. If we come back to Cornwall we will be visiting here again for sure.

   We choose Springtide for brunch today because of the little, child friendly area, that they have recently set up towards the back of the restaurant. My 3 year old was able to play with the play kitchen, ice cream shop and soft blocks, whilst we got to enjoy our food and coffee whilst it was still hot! The food was delicious, the service friendly and attentive. I hope the child’s play corner is here to stay because it made going out for brunch with a toddler so much easier and we will definitely return.

   Very good food focusing on fish but other dishes good too. They were busy when we arrived on a Saturday evening but service was quick and delightful. We had a really nice evening and it being dog friendly was a bonus.

    As a lunchtime venue Springtide is not the fish restaurant we had expected it to be.Very limited menu for anything other than snack food. No starter choices other 3 specials of which 2 were shellfish. However the Catch of the Day and Fish and Chips ee did have were very good. But the venue seems to be more of a 'posh' creche/cafe, with a number of young children and their mums and a noise level to match. Not a relaxing ambience.
