The magnificent Stamford Park Homestead was built in 1882 by the entrepreneurial Row family as a Gentleman’s Residence. After many years of neglect, the homestead and six acres of grounds have been aesthetically restored, allowing it to once again become the ‘Jewel in Knox City’.

Stamford Parks current custodians, have waved their ‘whimsical’ magic of both design and true hospitality over the beautiful estate and it is now a stunning property serving the public for what it was originally intended – a place to gather, meet, entertain and unwind.

    We have dined here quite a few times. This time we brought 2 couples. I feel that compared to when you re-opened to now the service and quality of food has gone down. Firstly, our waitress was absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. I'm sorry I don't remember her name. The waiters that came to our table, popped our bottles if wine down & left, not pouring the wine! My husband had Porthouse back in May & again last night. There was no comparison. Last night's steak was extremely thin for a porthouse & small. There were a few pototoes & veggies plonked on the plate, it looked unappealing and not at all value for money. We booked the date because of the Jazz Band but unfortunately we couldn't hear or see them as they were playing out the front!!!! Very disappointing! The lighting in the big room should be lowered, to create a lovely ambience. The lights last night were too bright, it felt more like a pub meal environment than the past dining experiences we have had with you.

    The venue was larger than I expected, and obviously very popular due to the numbers of diners already present, so found the noise level a bit high. However the service was excellent, and of our table of 14, everyone commented on the standard of the food. I was also pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices of all meals. Will definitely come back when we are in Melbourne 😊

    Justin provided us excellent service and meal suggestions. The room was fantastic with a great ambience and decor. Meal was superb. Made our wedding anniversary extra special.

    Another fantastic Stamford Park experience and, yet again, my friends were amazed that this gem is right here in Rowville. They loved the feel and history connected to the homestead and were very, very happy with our meals and service. It's always such a pleasure to be welcomed by everyone at Stamford Park and I love sharing the whole experience with my friends and neighbours.

    An enchanting premises styled to perfection. The diverse alocart menu has something for all family members, even our little ones. Food arrived in a timely manner and was devoured by eye before satisfying our pallets through taste and texture. Clearly an expert reciper supported by talented chefs. We will definitely be visiting again for dinner and any functions in our near future.

    Beautiful atmosphere, amazing furnishings, fabulous food, very reasonable prices. Never seen a menu offering such a variety of food. Problem is making a choice.
