   You can’t beat a Sunday roast from the star inn but on this occasion it was a Saturday outing for 9 people for a 60th birthday. They didn’t disappoint, always tasty food and the staff are always friendly. Highly recommended a visit if you’ve not been before

   The Landlady and Landlord always go above and beyond helpful . We always enjoy our visit and we have been a few times now and will definitely be back again. I also like the fact they help community , run charity events , live music, Quiz nights. Wish this was my local pub 😊

   A Busy Monday evening, good value food ( 2 course menu @ £13.99 ( steak +£2). Service was good, the food was tasty &well presented. Will be visiting again.

   Lovely lunch menu, lovely friendly pub owner, just wish he’d asked if we wanted another drink after our mains. Definitely go back

   My party of 5 Americans were staying near Liverton, so I booked the The Star Pub for Friday night. Our table was ready in a very cozy corner of the historic pub - we loved it! Food and value was good. The service was a little slow (to American standards) but it was also busy for Friday night! The staff were friendly to us and helpful in explaining the food that was unfamiliar to us as Americans. I would go again to The Star!

   Service was amazing and super helpful and the food was outstanding! me and my friend left feeling stuffed! such a wide range of food it was hard to pick what we wanted so we ended up sharing everything so we could try out the most! was so yummy!! defo would go back!

    waited over an hour and half for food sat next to a table with dogs who would not stop barking No explanation to why we had to wait so long
