   Last night my friends and I gathered to celebrate my birthday. The Star Lounge is a beautiful and cozy place! I loved the whole intimate ambience , very much so gave the date night vibes. The food selection could have been better but the drinks were great!! Kudos to the bartender and our waitress! She was very sweet and I appreciated my birthday treat at the end! I’ll be back next time for happy hour as I heard there’s more food and drink selections.

   Drinks were top shelf. Service was meh, had to flag down our server a few times as she was running everywhere - staffing? Calamari appetizer was fantastic. Salmon was a bit mushy. Overall, this is a great place, possibly an off night.

   It might have been loud but I did not care! The ambiance is beautiful the food was SO DELICIOUS and the drinks delicious! We have been for just drinks before and finally had the chance for dinner. We will definitely be back! 10 out of 10!

   We enjoyed our time at the Star lounge. Thanks to the host for allowing us to change our table. We wanted a more intimate quiet area. We were initially seated right next to a couple who was rather loud and kind of made our time awkward. The food was great and the feel inside is very warm and cozy.

   Food was great. Service was better. One critique would be the live music can be a tad loud at times, but that is kinda what comes with live music. Would go back for sure.

   We drove from Roseville at rush hour traffic to get to this restaurant. The food and ambiance was good. I wish they had better service, there was always a wait of 20-30 mins between things being ordered or served and just to ask for a steak knife since they forgot to give us that so for a solid 30 mins we were eating our steak with a butter knife. For the 2 hours that we were there, our server only checked up on us 2 or 3 times. I was kind of sad too because it was our anniversary but there was no special treatment whatsoever whereas other restaurants would have offered a free cake or drink. I don’t I’ll come again, not worth my time or money.

   We had a wonderful time for our 32nd anniversary dinner. Colin was our server and he was personable, helpful, efficient, and just a pleasure to have for our night. The food was exceptional. All of our party enjoyed their meals. Love the ambiance and the setting. Will definitely be going back. Matter of fact, I booked a team dinner there for my company next week.

    The Star lounge has a great bar vibe but seems to be conflicted between knowing if it’s a bar or a fine dine restaurant. The prices reflect fine dining but a noisy bar with closely placed tables is not conducive to fine dining. It has a very limited menu with high end prices. My husband liked his salmon but it was the size of a Costco freeze wrap salmon filet and my martini was delicious but for $20.00 I want a bit more ambiance and not be sharing a table with a large group of loud and boisterous partiers. It is a great bar but trying to make it a fine dining experience is a failed experiment.
