   The appetizer grilled octopus was heavenly I thought the sole was meh but my husband got the pheasant and it was wonderful So elegant

   Excellent setting, food and service. Service: Sarah was our waitress and she did an excellent job - provide suggestions, taking care of our 3 hour evening dinner. Pace was just right - not rushed and not too slow. Food: It was superb - very well balanced in flavors, temperature and presentation. I can tell the chef tasted what he made, and adjusted accordingly. Setting: The view out of the big windows was magnificent, table setting was very well done also (plates, forks and knives were changed out after each course).

   CBI is consistent and dependable for a very good meal with a lovely view. Even after sunset there are sweet spots around the inn. Very attractively decorated for Fall at this time!

   Overall, not a bad restaurant but needs tweaks. One thing that was absurd is that you have to pay for bread and butter. $16. A couple more meat entree options would be good on the menu. Seafood heavy.

   Visited at the end of the season. Location is hands down beautiful. Food and Service were disappointing. Waiter, C, was not suited for the role- too many tables and wrong personality for fine dining. I've never had a waiter question food choices, try to influence us to order different meals. We had salad, sole, oysters... Didn't bother with dessert. We had one cocktail to start and were never offered a second round until they were taking away our dinner plates. All restaurants have good and bad days, we just happened to visit on a bad day

   Great food and service, but the waiters dress in blue shirts, black ties, and little brass name badges that make them look like the NJ state police. Perhaps a change of uniform is in order.

   I was surprised that the rating on google was below 4 stars, I had a wonderful experience at Stars. The place is beautiful with a gorgeous view of the water. Service was excellent and began with a warm welcome. Loved all the dishes I had and felt the champagne was quite reasonably priced. I will definitely come back next time I'm in the area
