Reserved a party of 8 two months in advance for 1pm. 1 week before they called and asked to move it to 2:30pm. It was not ideal, but I was accommodating. She told me on the phone that she would do "something nice" for us for being accommodating about the change. Nothing was done. The only thing "provided" was waiting an additional 20 min to be sat at 2:50 pm. They sat us at a table that fit 6 and it was very crowded. We waited 20 additional min to order drinks, so we decided to order food with it. The food came and still no drinks. We got our first drink at 3:33 after we finished our appetizers.

First, while our server was cordial, she did not seem like a people person and did not appreciate small talk. Every question we asked about ingredients, recommendations, or pairings (we chose Stateside for the Valentine’s Day menu) she had to leave to go ask someone. So it took a good bit of time just to order our appertifs. With that out of the way we thought it would be smooth sailing since it’s a pre-fixe menu. However, we were starting our second course before our first drink was brought to the table. Next, let’s talk food: first course, salad, was drenched in a very tangy vinaigrette that neither of us cared for at all. Second course, whipped ricotta with honey and tortilla chips. This was a horrible combination and I opted to just eat the ricotta by itself, which was pleasant tasting. Third course (main), was lobster tail and chateaubriand with roasted vegetables and twice baked potato. This was served on one plate (1 tail, 1 steak) that we were expected to both eat off of. Which came as a surprise as we were both asked how we’d like our steak prepared. For a $100/person I was not expecting one lobster tail (one bite of actual meat each). It would have been easier to swallow (quite literally) had it been prepared properly, however, it was overcooked (chewy), and as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp (severely dehydrated). I have never had lobster jerky before, but I imagine this is what it would taste like. The vegetables were undercooked and wrinkly (also a sign of sitting under a heat lamp) but the twice baked potato was cold. Fourth course, dessert, was macarons (hard/stale) and chocolate covered strawberries. The chocolate covered strawberries were the star of the entire evening, the one thing they did right!

This restaurant is moving away from using Open Table and going to reservations from their website. So they overbooked us and called to ask if we could come early. The waiter was very nice, but suggested the salmon and it was horrible. Did not remove it from the bill either when told this.

First time at Stateside! Love the vibe and the space is very welcoming. Our Bloody Mary’s were the perfect way to start off Sunday Brunch. I loved my sweet potato hash and my wife loved her sausage gravy. Our friends meals looked great too… especially the French toast. It is a bit loud and thus, hard to carry on a conversation. Overall, excellent… we will be back.

The DJ was SO loud and the portion sizes (for the price) was tiny. I don't think we will be back, given that there are so many other options nearby.

This was by far the coolest brunch spot I've ever been to! The vibe was on point! The DJ "DAHDEE" was INCREDIBLE. It was a whole vibe and I can't wait to visit again!

The ambience was lively and vibrant, thanks to the live DJ who added a fun vibe to the experience. The food was enjoyable and well-priced, offering good value for the quality. However, the service was just okay and could be more attentive. Overall, a decent spot to hang out with great music and good food, but the service could improve.
