Our recent brunch experience, initially identified through social media marketing, fell significantly short of expectations. The actual ambiance and offerings differed considerably from the advertised presentation. While the atmosphere and food quality were acceptable, they did not align with the promoted image. Furthermore, the level of service provided was unsatisfactory.

I recently had the misfortune of dining at Station 4, and I have to say, it was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've ever had. First of all we waited for at minimum 15-20 minutes for someone to come over to our table and greet us. There was no apology for the wait and in fact, our server initially didn’t even come over to our table. Secondly, the food was cold. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when it arrives at your table lukewarm and unappetizing. You expect a certain standard when dining out, especially in a city like DC, but the dishes we received were far below that standard. It’s as if they had been sitting around for ages before making their way to us. The service was equally subpar. Our server seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, which only added to our frustration. We had children with us, ages 4 and 7, who were getting increasingly restless as the minutes dragged on. However, I was super proud of their ability to self-manage as they were famished. Unfortunately, our wait for food felt like an eternity. It’s never easy to keep young kids entertained, and having to wait for such a long time made the experience even more stressful. Overall, our visit to Station 4 was a terrible experience, and I can't see myself returning anytime soon. There are plenty of other dining options in the area that I would recommend over this one. Save your time and money—look elsewhere!

We had a reservation but it still took us 40 minutes to be seated. When we arrived at our table we didn’t have water or silverware. It took the waiter 15 minutes to come to our table and never came to check on how our food was. We ordered the Brussels sprouts but they didn’t come. Thankfully the server forgot to put them in our order?! The noise was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk. The food needed salt and I had to ask for salt and pepper.

Very unstaffed felt like half of the team was sick. Only one hostess having to find seats for everyone on a busy Saturday night with no help from the manager who was running around doing who knows. Reservations for 6:45 sat at 7:15 and I can’t even blame the hostess she was cleaning tables and trying to seat people and giving waters bless her heart. When we were finally seat took about 15 minutes to get waters and it wasn’t even from our waiter waited another 15 and still no server so decided to leave. I have no hate in my heart for the staff felt like poor management form the manager who knew what was happening but couldn’t even help he’s team by cover sections

Minimal Wait staff for the size of this place. I mean MINIMAL! Felt bad for the staff cause they were trying their best but needed at least 6 more waiters. This place is big. Food was good once we finally got it. Never got water refills, had to ask for silver wear, didn't even think of reordering a glass of wine or maybe should have when I finally got the first one. Maybe a lot of people called out sick but it was really bad. Hope management hires more staff.

Disappointing experience that left more to be desired. Food was okay, but the hostess was overworked, the management did not care, and no one helped each other. The staff as a whole were not communicating and it shows in their poor service and kitchen delays for customers. The bartender had no support and only one person was making drinks for the entire restaurant and the bar seating area. I was charged for food not ordered and also had a hidden service fee despite not meeting the threshold for it and management was unable to resolve the concern / waiter did not care to fix it. In its current state, I truly would not recommend it to anyone. Pro tip: avoid the uni-urinal. Seriously: a separate room just with a urinal inside 😂

Not sure how this place has so many good reviews. First, when we arrived, the host greeted us with the most uninterested expression — I don’t usually care how restaurant hosts welcome guests, but this one looked genuinely annoyed that we were there. It took 30 minutes for someone to come to our table and bring water. Another 15 minutes just to take our drink order — and then it took another 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive. My friend never even got her soda! Our food took a full hour to come out, and when it finally did, everything was wrong. We all ordered burgers with different temperatures, but none of them were made correctly. They were missing ingredients — no onions, no cheese, no sauce — and the temperatures were wrong. I will NEVER return. The service was awful, the food was disappointing, and there are so many better spots at The Wharf. You’re definitely better off going somewhere else.

If you have food allergies, be very clear...they totally ignored my wife's allergies and when they finally got her a meal she could eat the rest of us were done. Took 50+ minutes to get drinks and appetizers from time we sat down. Can't lie...food was very good...but service was not so good
