   1. Ambiance: the decor and ambiance is wonderful. I love the lounge area (although we didn’t sit there- we sat at a table) Also, the $5 valet (plus tip) is also convenient if you don’t want to use the parking garages. 2. Food: TOO MUCH SALT! Omg, I wanted to send someone in the back to literally smack the salt container out of the chef’s hand! The bread had big crunchy flakes of salt on it, the French Onion soup was salty, and the meatball appetizer had, yes, flakes of salt sprinkled on it. Why? My daughter also said her lobster tail was salty. Nonetheless, my Verlasso Salmon was delicious and my son really enjoyed the Tenderloin Trio and Lobster bisque so I’d highly recommend those options.

   Short rib post roast was amazing definitely a 10/10. Au gratin potatoes weren’t my favorite. The complementary rolls with tallow butter were delicious. My husband got the filet. He said it was good, nothing super special but still delicious and no complaints. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

   Our reservations were at 2:45 we arrived prior and was sat right away as the place was 95 percent empty. There was 4 of us. When server arrived we gave drink orders and appetizer order. Just to keep it short our service was the absolute worse. The young lad had 2 other tables set after us and they both received food and drinks before our table. We did receive our appetizer only because i put it in as soon as we sat. the drink i ordered never came from the bar she let me know an hour later while still waiting on food she never put it in. She had 3 tables during a slow lunch service. manger brought my drink as we were getting food but never really apologized for the rough service, i do not care about free drink, acknowledge the horrible experience course correct. i will not be back to this location.

   Food and service was wonderful! Deviled eggs with the fantastic bacon was crazy good. Steak outstanding! CHOCOLATE cake was the MEMORY! Lovely view of the downtown area. Great addition to the neighborhood.

   Amazing restaurant but the food wasn’t great… our steaks came out cold and mines wasn’t cooked the way I requested. My guest potato was so cold the butter or cheese didn’t even melt in the inside. Service wasn’t the best wasn’t even offered desert menus. I was celebrating my birthday and wasn’t satisfied at all. Maybe they have to get the hang of things with it being a new location.

   What a great new addition to downtown! The food was absolutely amazing and perfect. And the service was over the top! Pure perfection executed last night. Thank you for a great night and meal! A must try why in Louisville!
