   We had a lovely evening, the background music was chilling, the service was very good and the food was wonderful. If the prices had been a bit lower it would have been 5 stars all round…

   Great ambience, warm and vibrant. Good to see a more diverse menu with steak, burgers but also mussels on the menu. It felt more like the old days. Booked again already.

   Roast beef was excellent with a good of variety of vegetables. Particularly liked the Yorkshire pudding stuffed with pulled beef. Would highly recommend. We will be back.

   We all had a fabulous lunch on Saturday. The staff and food were excellent. Our table in the bar was so cosy next to the fire and the children were able to play the board games, which got them off their phones for quite a while! Thanks to all the staff for being so lovely and friendly. The food really was first class and the whole restaurant felt like a Christmas film, perfect!

    Great staff and even though it has changed hands in the last few years (although I think still in the family) it still retains the same charm and remains a favourite place. Amazing Sunday lunch especially the surprise of the Yorkshire puddings filled with slow cooked beef. Sorry for blocking up the car park with a recovery truck but all the staff were really helpful
