STIR is the perfect restaurant to enjoy a night out, host clients, or sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters. Located in South End, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Our cold bar and kitchen offers fresh oysters from North Carolina and beyond, traditional Mexican and Peruvian ceviche, and classic entrees and specials, all prepared from scratch.

STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure.

We welcome Charlotte to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality.

    Service was great. Food was great (lobster and shrimp mac and cheese, chicken special, oysters Rockefeller). Wassail (season drink) was great for our pre-holiday dinner. Egg Nog creme brûlée was a perfect ending. Loved it. Go now!!

    Stir never disappoints. I typically go to the Raleigh location, which is awesome. The Charlotte one was just as great. Our server, G was amazing and very personable. She provided stellar service while also chatting and engaging with us the entire time. We had a wonderful time and will always keep Stir as a staple.

    Great food and our server was great! Only negative was the host did not validate our parking after they walked to the back and handed us our garage parking ticket. Once I was leaving the garage it still charged me.

    Definitely a good place to go for brunch and catching up with friends over a good meal. Would like to go back to see what the dinner menu is like. Has a good price point for a great time too
