   The steak was so bad... ordered medium well Ribeye... well... the ribeye didn't even have ribeye cap... the whole point of the ribeye is the ribeye cap... The steak was so chewy that I couldn't even finish the steak... The quality of the steak was 1/10... not sure where they are sourcing the steak.. but it has to be the lowest quality I've ever experience in a restaurant. The grocery store can source better cuts of meat. The side of mushrooms was the highlight of the entire meal... This experience taught me to never go to a steak house that won't show you the steak before they cook it for you... The staff was great. Being that its Bellevue I was expecting more out of a restaurant, but I suppose we go to this restaurant for the ambience. Honestly the steak felt like is was the lowest effort component of the entire experience. The steak was on par with a $5 casino steak. The name of the restaurant should be changed to something like "The Vibe", admittedly, that vibe of the restaurant is great, it's the best aspect of the restaurant. Not to diminish the staff in any way, the staff was great, top notch! If this is a steak restaurant, focus on the steak. The location is phenomenal. My recommendation for STK in general is to change the concept completely. If you mimic Gordon Ramsey's "Hells Kitchen" from Las Vegas, open up the kitchen for the exhibition viewing for patrons, and have beef wellington be the star of the restaurant, change the name to "Buckingham Bistro" you might have winner and be able to salvage the brand.

   Took about 10 minutes before anyone even offered us water but then things were fine until I received my steak. First they came over the melt the $13 butter with a blow torch, cool feature, but then they left. They didn’t give me a steak knife or anyway to eat my steak nor did they ask me to cut into it to see if the steak was prepared to my liking. After a couple of minutes we flagged someone down to get a steak knife and then when I cut into it the steak was not prepared to my request. We flagged down our server and she saw the steak wasn’t prepared per requested and sent it back. A few minutes later I got the same steak back, chargrilled on the outside but cooked properly inside. The chargrilled part wasn’t great and overall for a nice steakhouse I was super disappointed with it.

   First time at STK for a family birthday dinner. Food was excellent - no complaints there… but the presentation was very awkward! - Three servers came over with sparklers and a drink to celebrate my birthday….and silence…no singing happy birthday. Just awkward standing there at my table for 30 seconds in silence… - What’s up with the Vegas-style photo offer? No other restaurant in Seattle does this and again, was SUPER awkward interaction with the photographer….was this free? Paid? Part of my birthday special? Had to figure this out with the photographer which they tried to sell us a framed photo for $25!! This isn’t Vegas guys!! Other than the very awkward interactions - at least the food was great!

   First time going and it definitely wasn’t what we expected. Food was delicious and can’t complain but the service was the absolute worst we’ve ever experienced and fine dining restaurants.

   I usually go here more often than other places nearby for lunch, mainly but sometimes for happy hour with a little bit of dinner. This week I went for lunch and HH/dinner. I was seated roughly in the same area of the restaurant and both times a fly kept destructing my meal, espcially during lunch. Overall since I first started coming here, I noticed that the food quality has gone down. The house bread, for example, is often hard as a rock for most of it and this is also true for the other breads like burger buns probably due to over cooking/heating. Oyster usually came with several sauces but now they only come with lemon and tobacco. Also the busser kept trying to take the oyster dish away when there were still one oyster left for some reason. It was werid. During lunch, the service is slow and minimal. The good news is that most of the staff is nice except for a few that I no longer see working for them. Seems like a lot of turnover and training happening every time I go. They have great deals for lunch and HH and I usually buy outside of their deals but I'm not sure if it's worth it anymore.

   I had an absolutely amazing experience!! The vibe was on point. Service was genuine and accommodating. And the food! By the Gods! Best tomahawk in the greater Seattle area. Cook to perfection and the chef brought it to me to insure it was to my desired temp. Well done STK. I will definitely be back.

   Best experience i have ever had: location was walking distance away from a free public parking at Bellevue Square. STK's ambiance was super outstanding, it was very clean and cozy. There were several employees that have attended to our needs. They accommodated us with a good table. They were all very friendly and the service were quick. The food was fresh, and the taste was outstanding. Our veteran's celebration was very memorable at STK. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

   Es la primera vez que vamos con mi hijo a celebrar su cumpleaños y honestamente nos fascinó la comida! La mesera y demás personas que nos atendieron de lo mejor!
