   I did a reservation for my best friend and I's birthday and we had a party of 6 which ended up being 5. When I reserved our table, I added in the comments that we were bringing cakes to share to celebrate. When we arrived, we were told that outside food is an additional charge of $5 (we had 2 cakes), and "if I was aware of this up charge," but I was not. No one reached out about this and I reserved weeks ago, so I think this needs to be mentioned when reserving or even on their website. There was a lack of communication there. When I asked if it'll be $5 per cake the hostess said yes, so we were fine with paying the $10. When it came time to pay, we were actually charged $25 for the cakes and were told that it's $5 per person and not per dessert so that definitely needs to be said to the hostess cause she obviously did not know. That was very disappointing. Our table also wasn't ready even with the reservation so we ended up standing around for 10 minutes. This place has no waiting area so it was very awkward standing near the door. When we were seated, we were placed in a darker area of the restaurant which sucks because there were cute spots with nice ambiance available, but we were put off in a corner. There was a larger booth right behind us with good lighting and a table that came after us that was sat there. The seating arrangement is obviously not taken in consideration with party sizes. The service overall was okay. It did not seem that packed and there were many servers. The hostesses were nice. Multiple people came by our table and cleaned it frequently while we were there. The food tasted fine and the serving sizes were okay, but I would expect a bit more for the prices of the meals. My best friend had ordered lamb racks medium rare, and it came out medium. You would think paying $71, that it would come out perfect so I think there needs to be more consistency for all the meal items.    The food was cold. The service was mediocre and this STK does not live up to the expectations I had based on the other STK locations I’ve visited

   STK-Charlotte was a great experience! Our server, John, was amazing. The atmosphere was super fun, yet still classy. I would recommend anyone come visit.

   I had an amazing birthday experience. The waiter was informative. He gave good suggestions and was always near when we needed him. I will be returning.

   Food was absolutely delicious. The server was okay. He gave us some wrong information about specials but not a big deal. Other small things from a service standpoint were tongs not being included when a shareable salad was brought so we ended up using our individual forks (other tables had tongs). Also not a big deal, but for the prices they charge there were too many small service errors throughout dinner.

   Ambiance was very nice. Food i give a 2 out 5. Compared to other steak house's my beef braised rib was very dry. I added a lobster tail which was the size of a crayfish. We also ordered donuts and received 5 donut holes for 20 bucks which was not fresh.

   We had a party of 6 and everyones first visit here. The atmosphere was fun and felt like a night club vibe. The food was great although everyones steak was overcooked but had a nice flavor. The side dishes and drinks were very good as well. Our waiter John was excellent! He explained the menu and made suggestions, was very attentive to us and we finished the meal with a complimentary round of lemon drop shots! And they were really tasty. Overall, everything was great but we all felt the prices were a little high. But we had a great time and experience.

    Cannot get over how expensive the food is! So disappointed in the meal. Filet and ribeye cuts were nice and well cooked. Sweet corn pudding was awful! No flavor at all. Brussel sprouts and creamed spinach were just OK. Service was good, but very cookie cutter.
