I really miss when this was the Keg! Severely overpriced, and lacking in value. I rarely write bad reviews, but this one was just too poor an experience for too high a bill. I booked a table for two on OpenTable, but when I arrived, the ladies at the front ”couldn’t find my booking”, even though it had been confirmed by text message from OpenTable. They said no problem, could accommodate me.And led me to a table in the middle area (in spite of having many, many available tables by the windows). When I asked to be seated by the windows, she had to “call a supervisor” first. As she led me to my table, my other party called on me. Turns out that when they came in, my booking was found, and had led them to a different table. They brought over the bread with a dipping sauce. We asked for salt. A young gentleman told us we couldn’t have salt, it would just only be him bringing the grinder over, “but you can’t keep salt at your table”. I had to point out to him that he could just bring us a little salt in a small condiment dish. Then another young gentleman came over with a steak that we had not ordered. Looking quite confused when we told him this wasn’t our order. Tried the onion soup.Tasted weird with the apple cider, does not augment the flavor at all. Then had the rack of lamb.Good portion, but certainly not hot, invariably had been sitting on a counter for a while.Tasted ok in spite of being lukewarm.Only was able to finish the half of it. Only saving Grace was the dessert, apple crumble was good, and so was the lemon meringue pie.Huge portions though, so easily shareable. And the only other good thing about that experience was Jordan. She was friendly and warm, and helpful with the menu choices. The only staff member who actually knew how to do the job. The price for a three course dinner was about $120, with only a soda (no alcohol). Not a good value for money at all, you’re way better off going to the Blue Mermaid or the Keg for a real dining experience

Both filet mignon and New York were on the saltier side.

The view was amazing. All of our hot food was room temperature, not warm or hot. The tables away from the window are very dark. We used our cell phone flashlight to read the menu and see our food. The DJ played a variety of music; however, it was deafening. 2 stars at best.

This was a tough one. STK has replaced the Keg in the Embassy Suites Hotel. We had been going there for years. It’s the same space redone with the amazing views of the falls. Get a table at the window. The music was Dj run and loud but fun but not really conducive to a quiet romantic dinner. Light level was low and the decor very modern and comfortable. The menu was surprisingly small and short. Cocktail menu should have been a separate menu with way more choice. Server was new, and she admitted it, but she was good and no issues here. The real issue and the reason we would never come back are the prices. Out of control and not in line at all with the food, which was good but not that WOW factor great. The prices are built for tourists 100%. Even high rollers could get a better experience overall at another steak house restaurant like the keg or 21 Club at Fallsview. For a family of 4 we shared the calamari app, 26 oz porter house, side of asparagus, side of fries, skillet cookie and 2 cocktails each for my wife and I and with tax and tip we were $400. We could have had more food for way less at the keg. STK is a nice spot but not sure how well they will do if tourist traffic is low with prices like that.

We have been going to the keg for years ...same spot. This was quite a different atmosphere and I liked it. Went Christmas Eve with our family. Very lively with a DJ. Very Chic. No riffraff in attendance. Service very good. Food A+. Sydney was amazing.

Amazing food. Amazing view of the falls. Easily the best dinner we’ve ever had. It was VERY expensive, but well worth it. Service was phenomenal, our waiter started off with great recommendations, brought us samples of wine and was very attentive. The porterhouse was the nicest steak I’ve ever had, the Parmesan mashed potatoes were out of this world and the Brussels sprouts were loved by everyone. The Hennessy peach cocktail was dangerously delicious.

Went here for a dinner with 4 adults and 2 kids and spent around $900 (without HST). Service was fair, a bit overpromised, under delivered on the quality of the food. The average price of a steak was over $100, I expect the quality of the steak to be much much better. The lobster mac and cheese taste ok, except there are only very few pieces of lobster to be found. The hostess didn't offer us the window seat even though I had made a request on the reservation, and the round table was empty when we were seated. I asked about it before we sat down and apparently the hostess offered it to the group that came in after us, bummer. If you are looking for a restaurant with a nice view, just go there and order the cheaper price item on the menu, lower the expectation on food and overall I will give a pass.

Extremely overpriced. Food is ok, but it's definitely not worth what we paid. Service is rather slow. The best feature is the view. Valet parking is nice, too.

It looked small at first, but once you go around the corner, it showed the falls and was amazing. The pricing is a bit much, but we expected that. The entrance to get there was a little confusing and we had to ask some people but it was easy once we knew. Wait time was super quick.
