   We were put upstairs into some makeshift dining area and after 30 minutes of waiting or even getting water, we were served by a man who goes by “Black Jesus” or Dee I guess. At first, it seemed like he would make the night better. He took our orders and eventually another server came up with our crab cakes and began setting them at someone else’s table while we were flagging him down to let him know that wasn’t for them. At this point he had placed 2 of the crab cakes down and the other guests were eating their salads over these plates, so as he realized this was the wrong table, he began to pick up the plates and bring them over to our table. Which we refused those plates, as they’ve just been eaten over. So those got turned back to the kitchen and eventually our server came back and asked about the crab cakes and he went to go figure that out and got them. But then he literally NEVER came back to serve us! After this point, we were borrowing favors from other servers to get ice or even water! We spoke to managers multiple times to try and improve the situation. Then at one point, our check was brought to us, without even asking if we wanted dessert. We’ve never had an experience like this, at any STK. And that server was absolutely horrible, the way he offloaded us and never even communicated. Oh yeah, and there was an actual rice grain stuck in one of our forks, that was for our cake. And it took over an hour to get my seat wiped down, which was sticky and I had already sat on. The manager tried to “make it right” after being called on twice, but overall this was a horrible experience (also for my sisters’ birthday) and I don’t see myself ever going back to the meatpacking location. I don’t feel like our concerns were being taken seriously during our experience. I hope steps are really taken to improve customer experience. Also keeping in mind, the upstairs customers’ money is just as good as the customer’s on the first floor.

   Literally the worst dining experience. They intentionally lowered their standards by packing in as many cheap rental folding tables and chairs for Valentine’s Day. Food was bland and sides served cold, we couldn’t even eat the tater tots. They literally had cheap folding tables and folding chairs and expected you to drop $400 on dinner for 2 … never again. I asked for a proper table after they’re tried to seat us in the makeshift folding table area and caught an attitude from multiple staff members but eventually got one. If you’re a high end steakhouse with $25 cocktails, $20 sides and $100 steaks, DON’T LOWER YOUR STANDARDS to cram people in!!

   This place was not how I expected it to be. I have traveled to many STK and seat eat had fun but this one was just off and didn’t meet my standards.

   Valentine’s Day edition : it was super packed, over booked and an extremely long wait to be seat with a reservation. The food was absolutely delicious though…

   Went to dine on Valentine’s and was duped into thinking, I was going to eat at the restaurant, when I then found out I was going to be moved to an extra room upstairs with 20 little tables too small to fit three plates of food on. $380 spent for an experience I would value at $40. I don’t ever review places, but don’t want others to get played.

   We booked reservations for Valentine’s Day to go to one of our favorite steakhouses. Overall very disappointing service, from the 40 mins it took for someone to greet us, to empty water glasses thought out the dinner and the poor atmosphere. While I understand Valentine’s Day is one of the busiest holidays for restaurants, this is no fault the service staff but managements fault. They failed to properly train their staff in how to anticipate the guests needs and help them throughout the night. They sat us in their private dining room that was freezing. Bussers and Runners were barely any help to the wait staff ( managers fault). While the food was decent, it didn’t make up for horrible service. The finishing touch was leaving the restaurant in the elevator only for the manager to almost bump into my girlfriend with no acknowledgment whatsoever, no apology or any word said to her. I found that to be completely rude. We won’t be coming back to any STK in the city and if we do we’ll be better off sitting at the bar. Management needs to be trained in how to run a restaurant.

   I do not recommend this for Valentine's day. We came here to celebrate Vday and our anniversary. Last time we went to midtown and sat in a booth, very different experience than this location. We were crowded around other 2 seat tables, practically on each other's laps. Might as well join all the tables together. It was impossible to have any conversations without competiting with your neighbors voices. I felt very uncomfortable. The floor was also very sticky and it was really dark in the restaurant so I was not able to see what I was stepping on. My shoes were sticky at the end of the night when I left. The food portion sizes are super small and the drinks were just okay. For the price I thought it would be good. I had expresso martini and my husband had old fashion. He liked his old fashion. The waygu was very good. The butter upgrade was $12 it was delicious. The mash potatoes were grainey and felt like from a box mix. not real potatoes. I would not recommend this side. I dont know how to get a booth, but I recommend you ask for one. Do not accept the 2 seater table or you will regret it.

   nice waiter but took him too long to look at us…we were waving for 20 min… bread came cold!! twice! steak was low quality buns for lil burger too dry NEVER coming
