   Valentine’s night disaster …really over booked,had to wait over 40mins for my table that was already booked for a specific time.Mains and some of the starters never turned up after 2 hours there

   Place was completely over booked. We had a reservation for 10:30pm. They told us to wait 15 minutes and someone would get us at the bar, we waited 1 hour before having to return to the hosts desk to demand a seat. After sitting us down, we ordered our food fast because we were already waiting an hour, for them to then keep up waiting for another 60 minutes+. We ended up walking out close to 1am hungry and annoyed we wasted our time. The settings are great but service was terrible. They didn’t have a clue what was going on, seemed like they were unorganised and overwhelmed. My first time going to STK and I fear I will never return after being traumatised.

   Worst experience ever. Waited 45 minutes to be seated and over two hours for food to come. I booked the valentines menu but when I tried to change it they said I can’t as that’s what I booked although their service was so atrocious I deserved some grace. Food wasn’t great at all and was overpriced. When the bill came it had a lot of things on it that I had not ordered and they even had to cheek to add service charge.

   We had to wait 2 hours for our food, service was terrible luckily there was one waiter who was apologetic ,but waiting 2 hours for your meal is ridiculous.

   They were overbooked and had us waiting almost 30 mins just to be seated despite having a booking. The service was very slow and we felt neglected. The staff appeared very hectic and disturbed my partner at the table numerous times (knocking into her chair etc). We had a booking for 9:30pm and still hadn’t been served our food by 12am… We had to leave the venue without eating as it was far too chaotic. Big shame as it was a very special day, wouldn’t go back.

   This was the worst experience I’ve ever encountered, I arrived at 9:30 to check in. Then waited 30 mins to be seated, I understand that it was busy. I then ordered and waited 45 minutes for starters. After the starters it was 2 hours later and the mains had not arrived. They did not arrive and there was no food arriving through the restaurant it was appalling. We did not receive our food and was had to leave as it was too late. Some people received gift cards of £150 for there next time however I did not receive anything

   I booked this for a nice valentines day meal, we arrived at 9pm, had to wait 15 mins for the table. We was then given a table sat opposite each other, I asked to be moved to a booth and was told that I need to go and speak to the people at the front desk, I then argued that why should I have to go and speak to them, the person who sat us at the table should go and speak to them, she did and then came back and moved us to a booth which I was happy with. We ordered the set menu, the starters and drinks arrived in a timely manner. Once we finished the starter, the plates were taken away quickly, however we then wait an hour and 40 mins for our main course, so I had to then order some oysters in between as we were so hungry. When the food finally came, the steak was cold and dry and over cooked. As we had waited so long we decided to just eat the food. This wasn't the fault of the man serving us, he was excellent but waiting that long for food is absurd. We were given a couple free drinks howver I don't believe this was good enough. They even had the cheek to charge us a service charge which I instantly asked them to remove and they did. In all honesty I shouldn't have paid for half the meal. They gave us a £50 voucher off our next meal but do I really want to go back for that same experience, I don't think so. The couple sat next to us asked us how long we had waited for our main and they also had waited an hour and a half, after we said we also waited that long, they got up and walked out, I felt sorry for them as they had no valentines day meal. Overall, I would give this restaurant a well deserved 2 stars, and they're lucky they got that. Do not go here!!!

   Very polite and welcoming staff. Good food and atmosphere, although it’s on the more expensive side!

    I took my mrs to STK to celebrate our 2nd Valentines and I didn’t regret it. It was our first time dining there and we’ll definitely come back to dine again. Just want to say thanks to Vasile who gave us fantastic service and made our experience enjoyable.
