We keep trying to like this place because the setting is wonderful. The drinks menu is creative, but the wine and beer list is not very extensive. The staff is always professional, courteous, and prompt. But the menu is pretty limited, rarely changes, has no "specials", and is generally uninspired. The food is "meh" - it's not bad, but it's not great and it doesn't comport with the expectations created by the surroundings and the staff. Best bet here is to stop in at happy hour, have a drink and a starter, and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. Then move on for dinner.

Nice place to bring your lady, prices are good and value. You’ll spend anywhere from $70 to $200 or more though it’s worth it. P.s don’t come here if you only have 100 lol not worth it.

Great 32 Oz. Porterhouse steak. However $145 was a little over priced. Good pastas too The carrot soup was also succulent. I wish there was a caesar salad or wedge salad option. Also, wish there was a second soup to choose from. The deserts were good, minus the whip cream on the beignets. Overall, great evening at a pretty cool restaurant. We will definitely return.

We ate at Michelin listed restaurants three nights while in Monterey. This was by far the best all around experience. The design of the restaurant is beautiful, the service was outstanding and the food was exceptional. One of the best meals I have had anywhere in a long time. All boxes were checked, and them some.

This is one of the best dining experiences we had this year so far. Way better than our thanksgiving dinner at another restaurant yesterday. The service was spot on. Dishes were top quality and not pricy as fine dining experience. We regret did not come here for thanksgiving. Will definitely come back again next year.

Tagliatelle Bolognese is delicious and also offered on the Kids Menu. Cavatappi was good but the Tagliatelle is better. Snake River Farms New York cut was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. For dessert, the Cinnamon Beignets are tops. Second is the Chocolate Budhino. They have a cocktail made with Jasmine Green Tea Vodka and Yuzu that is delicious.

My husband and I shared the porterhouse and our granddaughter got the wagu. They both were delicious!! The sides that came with the porterhouse were incredibly yummy (crispy potatoes and an Italian broccoli) We started the the garlic bread - which set a VERY High bar for the next course. I’m dreaming about the garlic bread - PHENOMENAL! Our server, Jane, was knowledgeable, kind and very attentive.
