Studio Gauthier is the exciting new project from Alexis Gauthier, taking over the unique and beautiful setting of the BFI building in Fitzrovia. Beautiful velvet booths meet austere concrete and California colours with a large open kitchen to see everything the chefs are preparing. The 100% plant based menu features, for the first time, Gauthier Soho level dishes in a less formal and more wallet friendly environment, perfect for a fun evening with friends.
Also don’t miss the private, sheltered mews terrace at the back.

    We always feel so welcome here! The staff know our preferences and go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and happy. It’s the best food I’ve ever had in my life and the service is exceptional. This place truly feels like my home restaurant—I’m always counting down to my next visit!

    Four of us had ordered the "Classic" tasting menu - and it was superb. As for the wine, we started with a bottle of the sparkling Vouvray and finished with the Monbazillac; in between, we chose the house white (Gaillac) and the house red (Côtes de Gascogne). The combinations worked well. The service was discreet and we were looked after very well by Alexia, the chef. As always, a wonderful evening.

    Our servers were very polite and attentive. We had the brioche and hummus to start with which were nice. The brioche was more like a croissant dough and could not tell it was fully plant based. For mains the raviolo was really tasty and a generous amount of pieces. The asparagus tart was so so. We found the texture a little odd and some of the flavours were a bit strong. Almost like curry sauce. The cookie dough was amazing, not too big a portion and the sour cherry tasted great with. I had a glass of orange wine however compared to all other orange wines I have had, this actually looked and tasted like a white. It was yellow in colour rather than orange. Will definitely come back to sample to sushi as this looked really good.

    We went for a sushi lunch. It was delicious! The passionfruit colada was refreshing and also delicious. I had the Louis XV dark chocolate cake and a cappuccino for dessert. Absolutely, yummy! It was a delightful experience. I'm looking forward to going again.
