   Understandable it was Christmas Day dinner but everything took way too long we got there. I had a reservation. We got seated in about 10 minutes which was fine but when we sat down and ordered our drinks, the drinks did not arrive at our table till about 20 minutes after we sat down. Then the appetizers came before our drinks did actually their fountain cola machine was broken. They did not have the drink I requested they were out of stock which was fine and they gave us gave me something else brought out our steaks. I ordered a bone in fillet the steak they brought me out was boneless I told the waiter and he said he could go get the bone in fillet and cook it which would take another 20 minutes and we were already there for wait too long. I said just forget about it. I will eat this fillet and don’t charge me for the bigger fillet my son ordered the lobster macaroni and cheese that tasted like cinnamon. I don’t know if it was made with cinnamon. There was barely any lobster chunks in it, but it was cinnamon and I asked the waiter is this the ingredient he said he doesn’t think so, but he took it off of our bill so basically whole night was not a good one for Christmas Day dinner I don’t know if they were understaffed or what the deal was. The service was super slow. They did not have a lot of the food and the food they gave us was terrible will not dine in there again.

   A nice place to celebrate anything. We found that some items could have been better finished—risotto too liquid, not enough beurre blanc, but the major problem was that the food did not all arrive at the same time. Wines are a tad overpriced. But we enjoyed the experience.

   I don’t like posting a negative reviews, but this is far from our upscale restaurant. I made reservations over two months in advance to be seated in the bar area that seemed more like I was in a extremely loud sports bar with customers at the bar way over served and screaming every five minutes watching their sports games also the restaurant does not have restrooms. You have to go into the lobby of the hotel. The restrooms were disgusting to say the least  the steak was among the worst. I think I’ve had. It tasted like it was steamed no flavor. The only positive I could say is the service was exceptional. I would never recommend or return.

   My family of five had the pleasure of having Christmas dinner here. The presentation of the cocktails was unique, the food was amazing, and our server, Kameron, was attentive, prompt, and delightful! We all had a wonderful time. Thank you

   First timer. Last time we were here it was called Roast. Asked for quiet corner table. We were seated way at the back but right outside kitchen and worse, across the very very very well lit display of cuts of steaks and seafood. We asked to be moved next table over so the display’s very bright white light is not in our face all night. That next booth is much better but the foot traffic was still a bit much. Regardless, we had Diego as our waiter and he was superb ! Very attentive. Checked on us at lease half dozen times all evening. Food was outstanding too ! A “Chris” also checked in on us (I think he is a manager) a couple of times. Chris was super busy all night so I was happy with his inquiries. Enjoyable and memorable experience overall but the ambience can be a bit better for those that want a quiet evening. There are lots of more quiet tables in the main dining room and away from kitchen. Honestly I was a bit hesitant with booking a reservation here due to a string of bad reviews about service, timing of being seated etc, especially over Thanksgiving. I took a chance and don’t regret it one bit. We will be back. Hopefully main dining room truly quiet corner without bright lights nor foot traffic.

   Not like The Roast where you were transported to New York. The entire came before I was done with the French onion soup. The crab cakes were fair. The asparagus was overcooked and not better than a canned vegetable. My drink was high in Mx content and low on alcohol. For an establishment looking to be great the large screen TV’s reduce to a sports bar atmosphere. The music was too loud for polite conversation. I will no go back.

   We had a great experience date night Christmas Eve. Great service. Wife Is vegetarian, and had cauliflower appetizer great, Cesar salad great, sweet potato casserole yummy, and the mushrooms wonderful. I had lobster bisque fantastic and a perfectly cooked Cajun ribeye. Large portions have leftovers. Will come again for special occasions

   Couple things…they offer no valet parking. You have to park across the street for $20. We ordered 2 appetizers- Calamari and Ahi Tuna…both very good. I had the Sea Bass and my daughter had the Crab Cakes which were both very good. Unfortunately, my wife ordered the brick chicken which was overcooked and dry and offered zero flavor. Our waitress didn’t realize that my wife ate less than 10% of her meal and honestly wasn’t really attentive all night. I’d go back, but I’d sit at the bar and not order the chicken.

    What a wonderful place and walking distance to Campus Martius. It was a perfect night spend on a first date. Diego our server was fantastic and we literally had amazing dinner (food was great). By the way my date truly loved the place (a lot thanks you from her) and we will definitely will be back.
