   Was very pleasantly surprised with how well they executed here. The staff was fantastic, the food was good and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Very cool spot. We will definitely be back.

   I decided at the last minute to make dinner reservations for Christmas. Never having been to Summer House, I thought it was more of a cafe style restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised that it was more elevated in style and the mood was cozy. My daughter has celiac and our server went through the entire menu with her, which impresses me when a restaurant takes the time to train their servers on food allergies and how serious it is. Our server was attentive and amazing. The food will definitely having me coming back along with that delicious tropical dreams drink!

   Wagyu was overcooked, but they made it right. Very festive place to eat on the holidays.

   Some of the worst service I’ve experienced in a long time and it had to be on Christmas with my family. We didn’t have our drink order taken for 25 minutes. When we finally placed our food order, the waitress said that one of the items was out of stock, gave us the menu to see what we wanted instead and didn’t come back for 15 minutes. We didn’t get drinks until 45 minutes into our dinner and never got another refill with the exception of water. The moscato was old and turned and didn’t even get 9 ounces that we ordered. The chicken was supposed to come with ranch and never received it. Had to wait 10 minutes to even get someone to get us ranch and it was brought in a tiny cup with attitude. The meatballs were good and the rigatoni was good, although the portion was very small. The wood fired artichoke is not wood fired, it’s boiled and the sauce tastes like pure lemons. What a disappointment! We will never be back obviously.

   I realize we went on a very busy day, Christmas, but waited for things that just took too long. Our party ordered wine and beer and for some reason everyone got theirs, but I waited prob 15 minutes extra before I got my wine. No explanation as to why or apologies for the wait. Our food was very good but my butternut squash ravioli was lukewarm. But we already waited too long for our food to send back to heat up. I will definitely go back to see how it is on a regular day.

   The only downside was being near the door to the patio. It was windy that day. It will not stop me from going back.

   Made reservations for Christmas morning for 11am. Disappointed that brunch was not served. I pulled up the brunch menu online but was not aware that it was weekends only. Online is not clear about that. Food was ok. I had the crab cakes; differently not Maryland crab cakes. They needed some type of sauce; very bland. Service was good. Cookies are very good. Not sure I would return…

    We went for dinner and had a great experience. The skirt steak and the chicken paillard were both very good. The service was great. The deviled eggs were really good, but I probably wouldn’t spend $10 on 3 slices of deviled eggs again. We will definitely be back. I did like that one of the very first things the waiter did was ask about food allergies. We don’t have any but I appreciate the care.
