Today high above the hustle and bustle of North Orange County, like a crown on the hilltop, you will find built in the tradition of an English country manor the stately Summit House Restaurant.
The Summit House, renowned for its magnificent panoramic views and old-world charm, is famous for the amazing flavors and incredible food presentations created by Executive Chef Timothy Plumb’s culinary team. Highlights include our world-famous Stockyards of Chicago Roast Prime Ribs of Beef, “melt-in-your-mouth” oak wood grilled USDA prime steaks, our thirty-year favorite sautéed John Dory, locally grown vegetables hand-picked from neighboring Back Sheep Farms, and of course our famous creamed corn au gratin.

    We celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary at Summit House tonight where we also got married at 3 years ago today. Summit House will always have a special place in our hearts. This year was even more special because we brought our son to celebrate with us, and he got to try prime rib for the first time. Our waitress, Daisy, was wonderful and helped celebrate our anniversary. Excellent service and attention to detail, and surprise dessert as well. My husband and I shared the castle cut prime rib- always delicious and so much food. We had to pack the rest of the it go. Comes with their famous corn (delicious!) and spinach. We got prawn cocktail, their house salad and French onion soup as well- all delicious. We ordered the kids menu prime rib for our son which came with a decent size prime rib, French fries and fresh fruit. Thank you again Summit House for an incredible evening to celebrate our anniversary at where we got married 3 years ago.

    The best dining experience I have had in decades. Tables are spaced well apart for easy conversation. Servers were efficient, and food was excellent.

    We were married at Summit House 31 years ago and have made it an annual anniversary celebration. We also go to the Summit House several times a year and made sure to support the restaurant during Covid’s trying times. The food was amazing and our server, Katheryn was also amazing. Once again another enjoyable dinner and evening. Thank you Summit House

    Old school delightful. Professional service, spectacular food and a live piano player tickling the ivories all evening long. It was like stepping into a Sinatra song. Will definitely be back.

    The seafood appetizer plate was outstanding; the whole familia enjoyed it so! I'd have to say that our wedge salads were the best this side of Melvyn's from Palm Springs. Also, all our entrees were so tasty, especially my ribeye and my wife's Filet Mignon which were cooked to perfection.. Alfredo Zarate Jr
