   I recently dined at The Swan and had a wonderful experience, thanks to the exceptional service provided. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Their recommendations were spot on, and they made us feel truly welcome. The food was also delicious, and the overall atmosphere was great. I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate the great service, as it really made our visit special.    The restaurant is nicely done up inside and we had a wonderful table by the window over looking the river. Our waiter was very knowledgable and the service was great throughout.

   Welcoming staff and lovely interior. Nice location by the river Thames. Outside seating area a bonus in the summer months. Food and service very good.

   This was my second visit in a short period of time. Sadly my experience today was not as good as the first. Firstly my request for a specific table was not received. I had the same meal and it just wasn't as tasty as the first time. Maybe a different chef on as it didn't seem to be made with exactly the same ingredients. Lastly my partner does not like custard but wanted the crumble. They would not swap the custard for a scoop of ice cream. I have never ever experienced this anywhere. And I have eaten in many, many restaurants UK wide. Apparently it was due to the cost not being comparable. To be honest this has made me think twice in ever going back. I offered to pay the difference but surely for the sake of a couple of quid, the customer experience should have been put first. Sorry guys, not impressed.

   Dear Lisa Thank you for your feedback. We always take any points on board and always try to improve to ensure every guest is happy. Its dissapointing to hear your second visit was not as good as it should be and for that we sorry. In regards to your requested table, we look in to your booking you made online and there was not mention of a specific table. On that day all river view tables where booked weeks in advance. For future reference please drop us a note and we will do our upmost to honor you request. In regards to the item swap we have taken this to our food team who design our and pricing so hopefully we will be able to make changes but sadly we have to be in line with our stock and pricing. We hope you visit us again and we will turn your experience in to 5* Best wishes

   I do love this place, the refurb is fabulous and the customer service is truly excellent. However - having eaten here four times now, twice the food has not hit the mark; which was disappointing, as the menu is so good. It's rare to find Chicken Kyiv on a menu these days, and the whole delight is the garlic butter - but it was astonishingly lacking, with no real taste of garlic at all. Similarly, a croque monsieur for lunch seemed promising - the reason we both went, actually; having spotted it on the menu on a previous visit. Delicious it was, but tiny it also was - and made on thin supermarket-style sandwich bread, lost on a large plate with no garnish; looking rather sad. For £10.50 I'd expect a small salad on the side, if not a few chips too - but these would have been another £5 + £5! A little game-upping might be needed on a few items I think - please. Will keep coming back in hope.

   Lovely team of people at the Swan - ate here for Valentine’s Day and wasn’t disappointed. Great to see them back open.

   First time at the Swan since it reopened and we were very favourably impressed. The ambience and decor are really pleasant and imaginative yet well suited to the historic building. Service was friendly and attentive, despite it being Valentine’s night and busy it was not rushed nor too intrusive. The menu was varied and interesting, and everything we had was delicious and really well made. Really excellent fillet steaks, and a tasty unusual panna cotta. The wine menu was limited (it is a pub after all) but good choices and reasonably priced. Overall a very good experience and we will certainly be back…thank you!
