The BBQ Bao buns were a let down. Mine arrived at the table looking like it had been deconstructed and the flavor was ruined by the outer shell being too tough and not being steamed properly. I prefer the bao buns that look like baseballs, but these look like soft tacos in a white crust. The brisket egg rolls were just not that flavorful and didn't have any pop of 'WOW" that I was hoping for. I have eaten here several times and the BBQ is so good that I just expected more and was disappointed

I have always loved Sweet Auburn, and my recent visit to celebrate my birthday was no exception. As always, the food was delicious, and the bartender crafted some super tasty cocktails. But on this particular occasion, I had the unique opportunity to meet one of the owners (Anita). I mentioned I was there for my birthday, and next thing I know, I get a surprise banana pudding for dessert - candle and all! My server (Diamond) also shined (no pun intended). She was knowledgeable about the menu, conversational, and friendly. My visit was more than just a delicious meal, it was a wonderful experience. Precisely what you dine-in for! Looking forward to my next visit!

The corn bread , ribs, and brisket egg rolls were great! The pulled chicken wasn’t good. The pours on wine were low. Service was great!

Excellent meal with terrific service. Our server, Isabella, was excellent. Handled our large group with ease, made great recommendation’s, and was able to answer every question we had. Every dish, both apps, mains, and dessert were fantastic. Cocktails were also delicious with a lot of inventive choices available. I would definitely make Sweet Auburn a “must visit” if you’re in Atlanta.

You cannot go wrong with the pulled pork. The Texas Toast is also tasty. My wife had the cheese grits and needed a spoon to eat them (no spoon was provided with the initial cutlery setup). The bourbon pecan pie was incredibly big and needed two people to finish it. You will get your money's worth here and there is a full bar. If you are a Coke Zero drinker, you will be out of luck. And while the strawberry lemonade is incredibly tasty, there was no regular lemonade for Arnold Palmers.

Always the very best. From attentive service and kind staff, to amazing quality of food and drinks reasonable prices! Love this place went for Dhaba bbq pop up, I got dhaba but partner ordered from regular menu of sweet auburn due to food allergies we were so happy that was an option! Everything was so yummy!

The service was amazing, the staff went above and beyond to help my family celebrate my daughters birthday. Our reservation was kept on time and we will be back. Thank you Sweet Auburn BBQ.
