   Issues with our initial reservation being cancelled and they rescheduled without calling. I had left 2 voicemails prior to that to confirm our initial res. without response. Ended up booking another day all together. A bit of hassle. Interior was nicely decorated but a new store front so missing ambience. Arrived and seated at a table for 3 which was very small, other tables were open for 4 not being used, would have been nice so we were not so crowded. Hostess used a fake british accent which was silly. Made nice comments about each tea we ordered and then one was not a favorite of hers, should have not made that comment at all. No refills offered on the tea, food servings were very small at one item each. Overall for the price of afternoon Tea $40 each, I found this a bit pricey; not high end, just nice place. Glad we tried, it was a gift to my step-daughter and friend, but no need to go again. Thank you.

   Lovely place to have tea and enjoy the company of friends. Service and food was good. However the warmth and cozy feeling of their last location is not there.

   Awesome service, great food and a taste of the food I grew up eating. My parents were British and I lived there for a few years. Reminds me of my Mom and Dad. Thank you for the opportunity to share my heritage with my daughter and granddaughters. Very special

   This quaint English tea house is an absolute delight- from the homemade pastries, scones and desserts to the china used to sip tea and eat off of. The service is fun and cheeky- we always have a good laugh when there. They also do a nice job of keeping this treat affordable.

   My husband loves Afternoon tea so we celebrated his 55th birthday at Sweet Peas this past week. We had a wonderful time and the tea and room was a celebration of the holiday season. The lovely ladies who run this tea room do such a great job. The sandwiches were full of flavor, the sweets were delicious and the scones nice and crumbly (as they should be) I would say my only disappointment would be that the cream for the scones is just whipped cream and not clotted cream as is tradition. But I know that it’s hard to make traditional clotted cream with our rules against unpasteurized dairy. They serve one type of tea as per the season, and at first I was disappointed as we like to choose our own separate teas. But the seasonal tea (Clementine Clove) was delicious. When we were asking about 2 of the for purchase teas on display, they asked if we would like sample a small pot of them. This was excellent service as we didn’t like them at all. But we really enjoyed the Clove tea and ended up purchasing a bag of it. We will definitely come back again in summer to experience their summer menus. Also, as far as Afternoon tea, the cost per person is VERY reasonable.

   The service was great and the food tasted amazing. The pumpkin treats and tea sandwiches were amazing. I also always love the tomato soup!!!

   Absolutely outstanding. The service was impeccable, and the food was excellent. Lovely decor and a warm and inviting atmosphere. The tea tray of the selected sandwiches, scones and pastries was beautiful and everything was delicious. Just the right amount and sizes and the clotted cream was so good. Owner was friendly and helpful but gave us our privacy to relax and enjoy the afternoon tea experience. We will be back!

    Lovely authentic English tea experience. Owner is an English lady and she runs it with her daughter, who makes most of delicious food.
