   Overall, we had a great time! The food was delicious, though even with happy hour pricing, we found the value a bit steep for the portion sizes. Our server was very friendly and attentive, but since we were seated on the porch by ourselves, it was a bit challenging to get our check. It took around 15 minutes before we were able to catch someone’s attention. Despite these minor setbacks, we enjoyed our experience and appreciate the service. Thank you!

   My wife had oysters and the octopus, while I had clam chowder and branzino. All of it was excellent. The wine selection is a bit limited but the cocktails were excellent, as well. We’ve found the choices for seafood in the Austin area to be limited so we were surprised to find this level of quality in an uncrowded environment. They deserve more business. We will definitely be back when looking for seafood while dining out.

   My wife and I have never had oysters so we decided to try something new and it was a really cool experience. The staff was great, the vibes were cool and the food was really good!

   Happy Hour was very disappointing. The quality and quantity of food was sub-par for the happy hour prices. The restaurant was also understaffed. We had high hopes because we liked La Joie, which was the previous iteration of this restaurant, but Sweetwater is not of the same caliber.

   Glad to have this small restaurant in Cedar Park. If you go during happy hour it’s best to make reservations due to size and seating. The seafood is some of the best we have ever eaten and the ambience is wonderful. Their small plates offered during happy hour are wonderful!

   Sweetwater Oyster Bar is a fabulous find in sleepy Cedar Park! A great place for an exceptional brunch or evening dinner, its service is friendly and just the right level of attentive. My friend and I had a wonderful Saturday brunch with an array of four different types of delicious east coast oysters, a perfectly light lobster ravioli and a delicious crab Louie salad. We also shared some very tasty skinny fries on the side. Our server was terrific too.

   Good deal on happy hour gulf oysters and they were fresh and large. The total meal was pretty expensive at just under $175 for two with the tip. One drink each (happy hour prices) one appetizer (happy hour gulf oysters) and two entrees- no dessert Maybe that’s what decent seafood costs now.

    A North Austin gem with amazing oyster selections and great food. I love their calamari, oysters, crab and lobster mushrooms, and their shareable large plates.
