   Great location and very cozy and nice ambience. The service was good and very solid bread/garlic confit included. Had the duck and was good but maybe not quite as great for the price being paid. Definitely spending a little extra for the ski resort location

   We were a party of 8. One vegan, others omnivores. Food was delicious. Interesting selections, hearty portions. Some offerings intentionally sized to share (main course chateaubriand, sides) others single serving. Great for large parties where some essentially eat family style while others have their own separate meal. Easily, graciously accommodated variation to first course for vegan diet. Vegan entree on menu. Ambiance was perfectly balanced. Warm, inviting, mixed size tables placed comfortably apart. Beautiful art. Architectural interest in stonework. Overall felt like being in someone’s very comfortable home.

   Best place to eat in the canyon in my opinion. The food was very good, the service is friendly. The dining room is very nice, the noise level is above average and there are quite a few families. Put a nice place to have a good meal in the canyon. Best place since the shallow shaft closed.

   We don't normally expect to find a great restaurant at a remote ski area. Swen's is something special. The view is a given, but what surprised us was first-rate service and spectacular food. The sweet potato soup was one of the best soups I've ever had. I had the NY strip and my wife had the halibut. Her halibut was the best I've ever tasted. Truly a memorable experience!

   The service was excellent for our group of 6. As a group we found the food quality to be inconsistent. The Pork and Chicken were very good though the Salmon was dried out and not as tasty as it should be. The calamari was very good though the beet salad was only OK. The ambiance inside the actual restaurant was a tad cold, especially when you consider the outside was pitch black. If you are going to have $70+ main course items on your menu, I think food quality should be uniform and more warm. Good job on the serve ce.
