   This trip to Tahoe Joes was a little disappointing. We ordered a couple side salads and they were good. We ordered the jackpot nachos with the joes steak addition for our meal to split. We have ordered the nachos in the past and they have always been consistent. This time around was very different to say the least. They were loaded down with beans a raw sliced tomatoes. There was hardly any cheese to be found. The steak was very cold and fatty with gristle throughout. Not sure what changed since the last few times we ordered them but they definitely missed the mark on this trip.

   We had reservations and were seated as soon as we walked in. Excellent service and attention to detail. Very accommodating to the kiddos. A very nice birthday dinner for my son and his kiddos, me and my husband.

   Our dinner was outstanding and the Railroad Camp Shrimp appetizer was so delicious, including the little salad that the shrimp nested on.

   Solid food and extensive menu. It was pretty loud and crowded but with an overall positive vibe. Our server Sergio was phenomenal. It’s a little pricy but worth it.

   Our waitress was very nice, but other than that, there was nothing to be impressed by. I ordered an old fashioned and it came with half a glass of crushed ice. Second drink had to be made by the waitress because the bartender left. The medium steak was well done, so they sent out another which wasn’t much better. Won’t be going back, there are much better steakhouses in town for the price.

   We had a table for 16, they had it ready when we arrived and the service was impeccable. Food was delicious and prices were reasonable. Thank you for making my moms 86th birthday a great memory for the entire family!

    Food is always consistently great. Service was a bit off but usually I get great service. Overall this is a great go to for great food specially steaks.
