   This is quite a hidden Jen. The egg plant starter, as well as carbonara are really delicious.

   If you love authentic Italian food, Talea s a must-visit! The cozy ambiance, friendly staff, and delicious dishes make it a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it.

   Restaurant Week. The restaurant week menu, though rich, was terrific value. The restaurant is spacious, it was quiet (when we went there were no rowdy tables). The service was fine. Portions filling. A great deal. I can’t comment on the regular menu.

   Decided to check out this new place for Restaurant Week - totally worth it! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for Italian food. I don’t know exactly what was in the olive oil with the bread but simply amazing. The melanzana and lobster diavola simply divine. Chafik was a super attentive and friendly server. Definitely sit in his area.

   My favourite restaurant to visit in DC! This is my second time at Talea and the staff remembered me from my last visit. The staff here is so attentive and the service is 10/10. The food is also delicious. I specifically went back for the lobster ravioli. Can’t wait to go back for more!!!

    Friend recommended this spot. Unfortunately, we didn't experience the food. We walked in, and one large and two small tables were taken. We asked to sit near the window and the attitude began. I asked where to hang my heavy coat, she said nowhere, offered water that never came, waited to order a drink, she never came. She seemed to be the only person working so it was her or nothing. Chose nothing. Went next door to Cactus Cantina and spent $200! Were greeted with warmth and a smile, sat at a table at the window, enjoyed great service, food and drinks. That's why they are always packed. Owner/manager, check on your staff. She cost you money. I will not return.
