   The food was excellent! We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and prompt with service. We got the Brussels Sprouts for the appetizer and they were delicious. Eve n if you don’t like Brussels Sprouts, you will most likely enjoy the way these are prepared LOVE THIS PLACE,

   Talus continues to be one of most creative, consistent, and welcoming dining destination in the Sarpy burbs. Go early for Happy Hour or make a reservation, because diners start pouring in after 6 every day of the week. The bar features creative cocktails and regional craft brews. The menu is innovative and freshly prepared. Wait staff is superb. You always get the sense that the Talus management and staff are working hard to make your experience memorable and to make you a loyal patron. They've been successful.

   Service was poor. Had to wait 10 minutes to be greeted by our server. Food looked good but was bland and no better than something you'd get a more affordable place. Will not be going back.

   Brought my mother for a birthday lunch and we had so much fun with our server, Amy. I would come here for every meal. Emily makes a mean, smoked old fashioned as well.

   Always our go to restaurant. They are always accommodating and adding new items to try. So happy they are in Papillion!

   While I don’t often write reviews after visiting a restaurant, I felt obligated to share an update. We had a 630 reservation. The place was crowded, but were seated nearly immediately. Our server was Jack. An energetic young man who took excellent care of us. The cocktails were delicious, the food was great and we will be looking forward to coming back. And, we will be asking for Jack! Great find & worth the drive.

   When we asked our waiter what the restaurant was known for or top recommendations his response was very casual. "What we have on the menu is what we are known for." When my colleague from out of state asked for a non-sweet wine recommendation the waiter responded, "This is Nebraska, we are not known for our wines." Needless to say, his comments were unique. We ate our meal and left. The food and atmosphere were fine, but his inability to present the menu and drink selection with any recommendations and kind of snarky Nebraska comment left us both feeling uneasy.

   We went there because there were not many restaurants near our hotel. We were not sure what to expect. It was amazing in every aspect! We highly recommend it ! Great menu and great service. Bar and specialty drinks were incredible!

    Nice varied menu with a broad selection. Our server was great. Only ding on our experience tonight was that all five of our meals were 'lukewarm' when served. Rather than sending all five dinners back....we just lived with it. Disappointed in the quality of the food in that regard. Meat loaf, chicken breast, mashed potatoes......all barely warm. We'll go back......but I'll not accept lukewarm meals on next visit.
