   Lovely hotel and restaurant to meet friends, pity the food is pricey and not worth the amount they are charging. I was shocked that for 3 glasses wine, 3 salads, 2 sets of foccacia bread with balsamic olive oil, small bowl of olives and 1 espresso and cuppacino came to £99, £109 with tip. The salad was poor for £9.50. The music was orchestral which did not suit at all. Kitchen staff were noisy right behind where we were sitting. They didn't have French Dressing. The restaurant staff were friendly. Overall Hospitality is required and a good look at what comes out the kitchen as not worth the amount charged. Hospitality is required here

   Staff were great and setting was lovely. It was pricey at £75 for a bottlenof wine ... but it was great overall 😊

   Everyone was very attentive to our needs. It was cute that at 3 east members of staff wished us happy anniversary and chef signed the cheese plate in chocolate sauce with the same words!

   Really lovely dinner during our stay at The Clayton Hotel. We had such excellent service from Kerry (I think her name was!) who was very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and good value for money.

   Very nice experience. Friendly welcome as I was dining here for the first time while visiting Addenbrookes . Very good sea bream fish special of the day and excellent cheese board. Excellent service and recommend 100%

   My main course came before my starter. I finally got my starter but then when the main course came it was cold. It was then reheated. I found this all very poor for this standard of restaurant and the price paid.

   Trying out a restaurant you have not been to before is always fun, and the Tamburlaine did not disappoint. All the staff were exemplary, the atmosphere very good and the food excellent. The selection was not huge, but this meant that the food was fresh and well cooked. The restaurant layout worked equally well for groups and couples wanting a quieter evening. Modern, stylish, tasty food with excellent service.

    What a little gem! Came for a meet up with friends as this was halfway for us. Everything about it was perfect. The staff, the food, the ambience, the setting…. Truly was one of the best afternoon teas we have done. So close to the station too. Would highly recommend and will defo be visiting again. What a great place
