Tamura Sake, Records & Jazzy Kitchen offers an authentic Japanese izakaya dining experience. We source original sake, beer and the best music selection from Japan. We do our best to bring back the good memory you had in Japan, if you’ve been there, or make you want to travel there if haven’t yet.

Our food is home-made and focuses on whole chicken and less waste. We offer small, healthy dishes to share—from raw to grilled. Our records are selected by well-known Japanese DJs and producers!

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Tamara Sake Bar. This is a fun and lively place with energetic jazz music playing over the speaker system. The food and drink (awesome sake) was delicious. Tamura Sake is a unique and fun place to dine. Reservations are recommended.

The presentation of each disk was visually pleasing and so appetising. The tastes were all superb. The staff were friendly and helpful. While it can be a little noisy, we managed to converse quite easily. My son had been recommending this restaurant for ages, so we finally tried it. We will be coming back.

I booked the $55 set with sake. When I was paying the bill, I was told that I have to pay $60 each and they won’t honour the app price. I have no issue with price increases if that’s what businesses need to do to stay afloat, but I do not like the misinformation. I would at least expect them to honour the deal for customers who have already booked the experience.

A great night - the four of us were seated around one corner of the bar, which was perfect. Attentive staff, who clearly were proud of their restaurant and fare.
