Tannins at Torquay is an oasis for wine lovers in beautiful Hervey Bay.
We offer an elegant but comfortable atmosphere for our guests to enjoy our wines which are mainly sourced from boutique small wineries in Australia and most are available by the glass.
We also offer a selection of Queensland brewed craft beers and small batch hand crafted whiskies and gins.
Our food menu is focused on grazing and sharing; offering a delicious selection of grazing boards to share.
We offer outdoor dinning in our sunny courtyard where well behaved dogs are welcome.

Due to the exclusive nature of these dishes, availability is limited, and we only take 12 bookings per hour to ensure an intimate, top-tier dining experience. Please note: Larger parties will receive their boards separately, but it’s well worth the wait! Enjoy an unforgettable meal for $85 per board – a true taste of Britain, right here in Hervey Bay.

    What a little gem this place is! My partner and I absolutely loved our night out at Tannins. The staff were lovely and the food was outstanding. The ambience was also really lovely with a young lady singing which was soft & melodic background music that allowed us to still have a conversation over dinner.

    Had an excellent time at Tannins, the food was wonderful, well presented and delicious. Coupled with some well placed suggestions for mixers to go with quite an extensive selection of gins made for an all round delightful evening.
