   A must visit if you’re in Chicago. Food was excellent, decor/vibe was super cool, and music was bumping. Service was a little slow because it was so busy, but everyone was very friendly. Ryan B was great!

   They placed a six person group at an equivalent of a four person round table. Getting into a battle right as dinner experience is beginning is a horrible way to start a birthday celebration. While the food was tasty, they ran out of a dish at 7pm and came back asking if we would like a comparable dish. We agreed but the comparable dish was 2.5 times the cost of the original. Shame on us for not asking. Lastly, when we asked to see a menu to pick a Japanese Whiskey, they didn’t have one. The recommended glass turned out to be $75 per glass. Again, shame on us for not asking. I feel this $1000 plus meal should have been 30-40% cheaper. Be on guard. Shady tactics.

   Such a great time! The ambiance is so amazing and food is next level. Had amazing service as well. Friendly staff smiling and checking in when needed. Drinks were amazing for everything we tried! Will definitely be back!

   The service was not great. The food was good but not for the price. it was so so loud and we did not get free entry into the nightclub even though we paid $500+.

   Arrived for reservation immediate friendly greeting. Of course I knew it would be a wait due to it being a holiday weekend. The wait turned into almost 45 minutes. As we were sat at a not so great table in a very high traffic area we asked the host about another table that was in arms reach she told us it was for a bigger party 5 minutes later the table was occupied with 2 people just like my friend and I. That was very frustrating because we were told it was for a bigger party although it ended up being 2 just like us. We ordered About 5 or 6 different options of food so we were hoping for a bigger table. We did stop the manager asking for a different table she did offer another table or bar area also a round of drinks were on the house we were very appreciative. Drinks arrived not very good. Starters were good. Some sides were okay. Entrees was amazing. Desert was incredible. We’ve been guests to Tao multiple times, celebrated my 4 year cancer free anniversary and Tao was the place of choice and our experience this go round was a 5/10 this go round

    Food was impressive!! Really enjoyed 3/5 dishes, and then liked the other 2/5. Highly recommend the dim sum sampler, Bao buns, and the crispy rice spicy tuna. The two bluefin tuna role had way too much wasabi, and I like wasabi! And the three pork fried rice was just okay, wouldn’t get it again! Our reservation was set for 7:30pm and we weren’t seated until after 8pm.
