A 16-foot Buddha, which floats above a reflecting pool filled with Japanese carp, presides over the scene at Tao. A favorite destination for celebrities and athletes, this Pan Asian restaurant specializes in authentic Hong Kong Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisines. Tao has three levels of dining including the prized "Skybox" which offers views of this former movie theater unparalleled in New York. In addition to its 300 seats, Tao includes a sushi bar, lounge and two bars at which to enjoy the food and the show. Appetizers range from $8 - $18; Entrees: $16 -$39.     TAO is always an amazing experience. My first time was 15 years ago but still very good and always crowded. Nice food and music. It is an eclectic place with different people.

    We get there 10 min before reservations time, and we still need to wait for over 35 min food was ok but overrated. I will never come back

    Our waiter was amazing. My daughter loves the banana pudding and you made her birthday so special by providing one to her. It’s her favorite restaurant and you never disappoint. Thanks again. We will be back soon.

    Still a solid place for dinner, but the amount of IG photo shoots happening while you’re trying to enjoy your meal is a bit annoying and definitely takes away from the experience.

    My first time coming and the waiter didn’t explain the menu. Felt like I wasted a meal when I could have gotten something different. Also, couldn’t ever get the waiters attention when trying to ask for stuff such as utensils or a drink.
