   Our waiter was OUTSTANDING. Food was also incredible. We had the filet, RIBBON PASTA!!, bolognese, mussels and the crudo. All incredible. The ribbon pasta was rich and decadent. Amazing flavor. Ambience wise - I wish there was a bit more space between the tables as it felt very noisy and the server couldn’t quite get to the table. It felt stuffy in this way and the experience would be elevated by having a touch more intimacy (not on top of the people dining next to you).

   Our first time at Tarbell's and we'll be back! When I made the reservation, I requested a quiet table. Our table was ready on time, and we were given a lovely four-person table (for two people) at the far end of the dining room. The noise level was active, but in a good way; we could hear each other well. The food and service were excellent, which is what we would expect in a Michelin-starred restaurant (better than many!). Service was not rushed, and the wine list was extensive and reasonably priced.

   We love Tarabells especially during the Holidays. Our experience was disappointing at best. Our server seemed rushed when he came to the table, more time between visits that we have experienced. We watched other service staff around us be present and focused on the experience from the moment their guests were seated. Not so much for us. We had to ask for what the special were, when he told us we were ready to order, he felt without asking. Finally the order was placed, entrees and sides came out, entree perfect, side room temp. We brought this to the attention of a manager who was delivering food, sides were taken away, brought back after we finished our entrees. They were packed by the server who checked on us after this all happened. He immediately brought us the check…without asking if we wanted dessert. We did let him know, he took our order never asking if we would have like additional sparkling water or coffee? The manager and or server removed the sides and dessert from the bill, appreciated that. The appetizer, entrees and dessert were delicious.

   Tarbell's is one of our absolute favorite restaurants for special occasions! The outstanding service and incredible food keep us coming back again and again. Do not skip dessert- the cheesecake with rosemary caramel sauce is out of this world!

   Tarbell’s is our favorite restaurant in AZ. Everything from the lighting, the vibe, the service to the food is top notch. We have never been disappointed. Our recent visit for my husband’s birthday was no different. We reserved seating at the bar and the bartenders knew it was my husbands birthday (it was noted on open table when I made the reservation) and mentioned it a few times plus gave us a smaller version of the warm lobster salad, on the house, as a birthday treat! And of course they provided their complimentary caramel cheesecake birthday cake. Good service is close to impossible to find anymore but Tarbell’s is a constant in that area. Such a classy place!

   My wife and I attended Tarbell’s 30th Anniversary last night and had a blast! We were able to sample a rare wine, Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, which was fabulous. As always we enjoyed a great dinner, amazing wine. We sat at the bar and, our bartender Kai was delightful! Congratulations on 30 years Mark Tarbell! 🥂

   Tarbell’s always has excellent food. However, on this visit it took them 3 hours to get us fully served and through our meal, altering our plans for later in the evening. Disappointing!
