Tasca, which is Iberian for "Tavern," brings together the vibrant flavors and culinary traditions of both Spain and the Latin countries of the Caribbean. Offering an elevated and innovative interpretation of Spain, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Cuba's shared food histories, Tasca seamlessly ties together the evolution of their cuisines. In a multi-level, 5,500-square-foot space complete with several open, airy dining areas, outdoor dining, subterranean lounge and wine cellar with fireplace. Tasca conveys both the warmth of a traditional Spanish tavern and the breezy elegance of a contemporary, coastal Caribbean restaurant.

With a variety of unique spaces and conveniently located near Central Park and the Museum of Natural History, Tasca is available for outdoor and indoor dining, large-party bookings and full restaurant buyouts. Restaurant was beautiful and service was excellent. The food was not as good as I had hoped . Some of the items were bland and salty. The shrimp app was listed as having saffron but really couldn’t tell. The Paella was good!

The paella for 2 is absolutely incredible. The service was very attentive in a lovely atmosphere. A wonderful neighborhood place as well as destination place.

Enjoyed the overall experience and the food tasted very good. I did not like the presentation of my pork tenderloin and that diminished it for me a lot. It was such a messy looking dish (huge amount of salad was piled on top of the dish) that it did not match up with the vibe of the place and diminished my appetite. Also, tired of paying 17+ for a cocktail or glass of wine but, unfortunatley, that's everywhere these days!

Have been here several times. two points of note. First, the restaurant was virtually empty this visit and so very quiet. Can't say would be same if busy. Also, for those who check restaurant grades - as I do - three grades (and certificates) are listed. One "A" and two "Not yet graded". Caused confusion. However, I called Dept of Health to ask about this and they said last inspection in July 2024 was "A". I mentioned this to manager.

Excellent food and service but meal took extremely long to arrive after appetizers. Meals that were ordered were not any of the specialty (paella) which require longer prep time.
