   I made a reservation for my birthday and it wasn’t acknowledged at all. Also their parking lot was like an ice skating rink. Thick ice covering the entire lot.

   Our server was so kind and kept telling us to take our time. She checked in often and was cordial every time. Wonderful experience!

   Everything was great but the Bloody Mary was 90% ice and was gone after 3sips. Had to ask for another with easy on the ice

   Our first time there. Service was great! Food was good. two comments : I had the Pot Pie. Flavor was delicious. My suggestion however is to cut the chicken into smaller pieces to make them easier to chew. The quantity and mixture of fresh vegetables was superb and crust was perfect All the appetizers : fried pickels sautees broccoli and guacomole and chips were good. second comment is all of the desserts were or contained chocolate. There were "No" non-chocolate choices. Maybe they could add one to the menu or at least vanilla ice cream as a choice. However, I iwould recomment the restaurant

   We went to Tavern in the Square at Dedham for the first time last night. We will be back. Several members of our family have food allergies - gluten intolerance, egg yolks and others - and Tavern in the Square made my wife and I very comfortable last night. Food was delicious and nicely presented, the portions were more than plentiful and very reasonably priced, and the service friendly and attentive. If you are looking for a new casual dining spot, this is well worth a visit.

   Waitress picked up on the fact that we were celebrating a birthday and brought a dessert with a candle. Very sweet!!

    This was our first time at Tavern in the Square. The food was quite good, and everyone in our party was able to find something that appealed to them. The portions were generous. The only drawback is that it was noisy, but that’s a minor complaint. The waitstaff was prompt, friendly, and attentive. We definitely will put this on our rotation for family get togethers.
