   Food quality and presentation was outstanding. Table service was very good but we had to wait 45 minutes to be seated for our 4pm reservation. Prices were high which is ok given food quality but not for being seated 45 min late

   Our initial impressions were negative. We made dinner reservations noting that it was our anniversary, yet they wanted to place us in an unsatisfactory place with plenty of seating elsewhere. At our insistence, we were placed elsewhere but at no time did they acknowledge our anniversary. Nick, our server was beneficial with wine and food selections. We were very satisfied with our meals.

   Food is amazing and the service is TOP NOTCH!!!! The bread you order is very different and sooooo delicious. Well worth it. I also had the double cut pork chop and it was huge so brought the rest home. My husband had the lobster ravioli (special) and said there were big chunks of lobster in it. We will definitely be going back again!

   I was excited to try Taverna and was disappointed with my experience. The service was very inattentive and our food took over an hour to come out. The serve barely checked on us and did not acknowledge the wait time at all.

   short rib bolognese was the best ever, anywhere! filet w risotto also a winner. french onion soup was five star as well. overall a great experience.

   The place is new and beautifully appointed. The food is very good, although both of our entrees were very salty. The “Parker house rolls” are amazing, although it was surprising that as a $12 appetizer it was the only bread available. The roasted beet salad was lovely. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. The biggest drawback was the excessive noise level combined with extra-wide tables, making it hard to have a conversation. I would have expected a newly designed restaurant to have better control over the noise.

   I absolutely love this new restaurant! The service and food was excellent! I would recommend the octopus and wedge salad! The drinks were delicious and we will definitely be going back

    Traverna Toscana Finally, an upscale restaurant bringing a touch of class to downtown Bradenton! My wife and I decided to venture out last Friday night to try the newly opened Traverna Toscana, and it did not disappoint. The executive chef’s carefully curated menu was impressive, with the octopus standing out as our favorite dish of the evening. My wife, who rarely tries such cuisine, was pleasantly astonished by how delicious it was. The complementary lemon butter sauce? Simply unbelievable—so good! There are several other enticing items on the menu that have us eager to return. The main course was equally well-prepared and enjoyable. I opted for the 33-day-aged ribeye, which featured the perfect balance of a beautifully seared crust and a juicy, flavorful center. Cooked to perfection, it was a highlight of the night. To accompany our meal, we chose the 2021 Jayson Pahlmeyer Napa red. While the wine was delicious, it felt slightly overpriced—perhaps the Caymus would have been a better value. We ended the night with a lemon cheesecake, and all I can say is: WOW! If you’re looking for a wonderful dining experience in Bradenton, I highly recommend trying Traverna Toscana. This gem is sure to impress!
