   I was so excited to try this place based on the videos I have seen on tik tok. However, my partner and I were left waiting for our food for over 50 minutes. Our appetizer came out, we ordered the lamb sliders and they were fine, nothing crazy to boost about. However, it took another 15 minutes before I asked if we could order dinner. They took our order and we waited another 50 minutes for our food. It took us 7 minutes to eat what we needed before we had to ask for our check because we were just over it. The people there were friendly and nice. However the service was horrible. We were offered a 10% off discount which was nice but honestly it should have been comped. That type of service is truly unacceptable. Out of all the places I’ve been to in Puerto Rico the more local authentic places have better service and food. This hype was a huge let down. The lasagna was delicious. The salmon was way over cooked. The pasta aoli was like butter noodles. The lamb sliders, again nothing special. The mofongo- stick to a true Puerto Rican spot- Disappointed. Again the people were super nice. But the overall experience is a NO for me

   The Gamberetto “pasta” is strangely like an egg noodle as opposed to Bucatini or spaghetti—otherwise ok. Very nice server & chill vibe/ambience.

   We had the most amazing experience. The speakeasy is for sure the way to go when visiting Travola. Our bartender Melvin was fantastic. Smoked Old fashioned and Moscow mules were top tier. The food was excellent. Start with the eggplant rolotini. I can’t wait to go back!!!
