Taxman Bargersville is a gastronomic destination and tap room that shares a building with the award
winning Taxman Brewing Co. Our culinary team is committed to artfully pairing the highest quality local
ingredients with house-made craft beers and wine. Our seasonally evolving menu features fresh
interpretations on familiar favorites, local grass-fed beef burgers and Belgian inspired double fried fries
(“frites” as they say in Belgium).

The restaurant features a full bar with craft beer, global wine selection and cocktails. The expansive outdoor patio is dog friendly and includes a fire pit. The upstairs loft area is available for private events and features a private bar and seating for up to 90 guests.

The salmon dish off the knife and fork menu is a bit deceptive in its description. VERY overpriced for what you are presented. I definitely would order the salmon sandwich vs the dinner if I was wanting salmon.

We enjoy making the short trip from our house multiple times a week for great service and food. I believe they have made small improvements in their desserts, but they still need to add a local or in-house made pie. I would extend “Happy Hour” maybe a bit longer to comply with those still working. I hope I don’t sound too critical, but it’s only to help you increase business. As I said we eat here several (2-3) times in a week.

It seemed as though the service level went down when we asked for the Devour menu. People seated after us were served before us. One of only 2 dessert options was told to be unavailable when we were seated at 6:30. I asked if there were any hot bar drinks, as it was a cold day, and was flat told no even though they have a coffee drink on the menu. I think they like to push their overpriced beer instead of bar drinks. We have ate at this Taxman before and have been pleased but this time was a bit of a let down.

The food was excellent and the service was very attentive as we were a group of 18. This was only place that would take an open table reservation for so many. Thir ambience and home made beers were great!

2 main dishes were already sold out at 6pm. The menu is already pretty limiting. I got the steak, which was good. My husband got the tenderloin and he said it was very tough and not good. We also got a couple appetizers that were good. Drinks were good. Would love to see a few more sweet cocktail options for the gals. Who don’t drink beer. I’d come back. I just wish there were a few more options of fish or seafood.
