   Wonderful authentic Japanese food. The ambiance is amazing. We had a very relaxing slow dinner. Our server, Michael G was especially attentive and explained the intricate details of the dishes. At the end, Chef Sakurai came to our table and we had a very interesting conversation. We’ll definitely return.

   Amazing. Best restaurant in Dallas hands down. The food is both innovative and traditional. Quality of ingredients is unparalleled.

   One of not many places that has fresh, not pre-mixed cocktail with no artificial additives. Quality of fresh sashimi is always top notch. Fresh wasabi is a cherry on top. Since opening quality is consistent and just amazing

   We started off great with our Omasake. We told the hostess and our waiters that we had to leave at a specific time for a show. We all agreed that 1.75 hours was plenty of time and was assured it was no problem. The food was very good. Some courses were excellent. But the service literally disappeared after our last course. We received spoons for dessert, which never arrived. By now we were 10 minutes after our stated departure time (we had a show to see). I asked the hostess about dessert. To her credit, she ran off to check immediately. But still no one came. Someone stopped by and asked us if we wanted our dessert boxed up. We were going to the theater so that wasn’t an option. Besides, take out isn’t part of the experience we paid for ($375 for 2, inclusive of service charge). I Ieventually got the bill for our water and tea. They took my card. And we waited. And waited…… Eventually our waiter reappeared and apologized. To their credit they comped the water and tea. They offered to have dessert for us after the show, but that wasn’t a realistic option for us. So ask me about dessert. Can’t say. Never saw it. I’ve had Omasake experiences around the world, including many in Tokyo (Narisawa was amazing). I can honestly say this was the worst service I’ve experienced at any restaurant in a long time. It’s especially disappointing since the Japanese people are justifiably proud of their long tradition in cuisine and hospitality.

   We celebrated my fiancé's birthday at Tei-An and had a phenomenal experience. We were so well taken care of and my fiancé felt so special. The quality of food and service was exceptional and the ambience was so perfect. Even though we were seated in the middle at the omakase bar, it felt so intimate and still like we were in our own little bubble. 10 stars! Food was delicious and we loved every second. The middle spot at the bar was perfect and we loved being able to see the entire restaurant fill up around us. Would do it again time and time again!

   Been visiting this place and celebrated special occasions for more than 5 years and it's unfortunate to see the service going down. Reception staff was not helpful in accommodating available open seats of choice. Seats were unoccupied for the entire time. Included birthday in the open table reservation but no acknowledgment or card at the table as supposed to some that received. Great food and quality but service has gone down which is shame for a gem of restaurant.

   Great as always! Now that they are recognized by the Michelin Guide I’m sure they will book up even more than they already are. DEFINITELY worth it!

    We visited this restaurant for a New Year’s dinner and enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. They offer a wide selection of foods and beverages. We particularly loved the premium chef’s sushi selection and the udon noodles, both of which were fantastic. You can choose to make this a more expensive meal for an upscale date night, or opt for more affordable options. We will definitely be back!
