About this restaurant

Indulge your senses and delight in the flavours crafted by Nayarit’s own Chef Jorge Miramontes. The Tekuamana menu is inspired by Mexican tradition and elevated by sourcing of organic, local and wild ingredients. The kitchen cooks without seed-oils, opting instead for ghee, avocado oil and rendered fat as well as incorporating house made lacto-fermented foods, sourdough bread and kombucha. The result is the most healthful and distinctive culinary experience in the area.

The Tekuamana bar has brought together local experts to create a menu of designer cocktails, craft beers, natural and organic wines as well as exciting non-alcoholic options - all of which use the highest quality local ingredients to create unique, fresh and delicious taste experiences.

Pair your food and drink with the best views of the coast, regular whale sightings and year-round sunsets, and prepare for a unique and unforgettable dining experience.

This road begins just past the main town area and winds through a more tranquil, jungle-lined path. Follow it all the way to the end—you’ll find La Joya nestled by the beach.Arriving by Golf Cart or Taxi:Most of our guests choose to get here by golf cart or taxi. Both are well-suited for the cobblestone terrain, and local drivers are familiar with the route. From the center of town, it’s roughly a 7 minute ride.Driving Yourself:If you plan to arrive by car, we recommend contacting our reception in advance to check on parking availability. Due to limited space, we may suggest that arriving by taxi is a better option. For any arrival-related questions , feel free to reach out to our reception team—we’re happy to help make your arrival as smooth as possible.
