    Food was delicious. More authentic options than many Mexican restaurants in the area. I was a little disappointed that the almost $6 shrimp taco I ordered only had 3 shrimp and a smattering of cabbage in it. Would have expected more. Tableside guac is well worth it...very generous portion. Lots of yummy Margarita options. Would definitely go back

    The service & the attention our server gave us was top notch. The food was served hot & delicious. Place was extremely busying but again our server was fantastic. We'll be back fir the patio next visit.

    Tequila Val's is a fairly new place that replaced The Anvil Club last year. Service for our table of eight was a bit slow in the beginning, but our waiter was attentive and friendly throughout our two hour meal. Everyone enjoyed their food, with a highlights being the steak fajitas and burritos, both well prepared. I thoroughly enjoyed the Carne a la Tampiquena, which was there very flavorful skirt steak. The restaurant was lively on this Saturday night. There is a party room downstairs, and an outdoor area that looks very inviting when the weather turns warmer. We will be back.

    The staff is terrific! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The prices are a little higher than other Mexican Restaurants, but the staff makes it worth it.

    Our first time there. We loved the atmosphere and the music however, our server messed up our bills a couple times and it took him a while to take care of us and was not very attentive.

    Tequila Val’s is probably one of the worst Mexican restaurants I have been to. If you want “authentic and fresh” go to Tio Ramos in Dundee. My husband and I went on a slow Sunday night at 7:45pm. We ordered the shrimp cocktail to start and it was okay. The shrimp was of cheap quality (if you eat seafood you will notice the difference in quality. For dinner I had two tacos: Al Pastor and Asada. Both were horrible. The Al Pastor was greasy and dry at the same time. Steak was flavorless and dry. You know it’s bad when the table next us asked for salt. I will say the ambiance is nice and drinks looked good. The service was okay, he tried his best and it was fine but there was a handful of employees talking next to the bar when there’s only three tables and all are receiving bad service. The key lime pie was decent, not the best I’ve had but it will do. The chips and salsa were sadly the best thing we had. I would never come back truthfully. As someone whose husband is Mexican and eats real Mexican food frequently this place has a lot of work to do. Additionally, the lady who kept bringing out our food was not grabbing the empty dishes which was weird since there was no bus boy. Lack of service is very noticeable. This place will go downhill if changes aren’t made.

    This was our third visit to Tequila Val's and as always the food was delicious; especially the guac, which was made tableside. The ambience in the bar area is lively and fun. Our waitress was amazing and knowledgeable! She was very busy; but checked in with us often and with a smile. A very enjoyable evening all around!
