Our meal was served, but we had to go to the bar to get our glasses of wine because our server never came by.

                                                                                                        An unfortunate night. We had reservations for Monday night at 7:15. Arrived and there were four tables with diners. A slow night. Some of the specials were not available. The meals we ordered came with substitute items (asparagus instead of broccolini for instance) without us being told that certain items were no longer available. The fish was as hard as shoe leather. It was sent back. The replacement came with arugula and tomatoes instead of Farrow and asparagus (since they were then out). The fish was flavorless and way over cooked again. The meals are usually delicious but we hit them on an apparent off night with little expectations of diners for the evening. It was also bad timing as we brought a couple with us whom we had raved about the food and then.....

                                                                                                        I ordered the fresh catch, red snapper. My partner had the same. Mine was partly raw. I was confused with fish that didn’t flake. And I couldn’t pull off the skin. How does this ever leave the kitchen? The server Patricia was apologetic and accommodating. I received my replacement snapper after all my dinner companions were long finished. It was fine but ill timed of course. And beyond an apology, no other accommodation. I had raved about the restaurant to our first time guests. Obviously, we won’t be back for dinner. Hopefully, we will still have take out pizza…
