Located on the third floor of Eataly Boston, Terra is a unique restaurant inspired by earth and fire. The dining room centers around a wood-burning Italian grill, where the Terra culinary team cooks raw ingredients over burning flames, allowing the simple flavors to shine.

In every earthy dish, the fire’s smoked warmth rekindles our fundamental connection to the elements. Plentiful and playful, the grilled plates are perfect to share around the restaurant's rustic tables, especially when paired with seasonal drinks.

Quite disappointed. Lobster in the gnocchi was not fresh. Same as the beef and pork in the tagliatelle ragu. In addition it wasn’t seasoned. Not sure if my experience is an anomaly because it was a Valentine’s Day and our reservation was at 10pm The tiramisu was incredible though. Though not a saving grace, was a highlight in my experience

I visited on Valentine’s Day and loved the cozy ambiance with beautiful plant decorations. I ordered the 3 Valentine’s specials: the beet gnocchi, beet burrata, and cod dish, along with the cooked oysters. All were delicious though I was a bit disappointed with the beet burrata, as it had a very tiny amount of cubed beets and at first believed they forgot the beets on the dish. For dessert I had the tiramisu which was fantastic!

My daughter and I walked into Terra without a reservation on 2/14/25 at 3pm. We were told we could not be seated, as it was Valentine’s Day and there were no spots. The restaurant was 1/3rd full. I asked if we could sit at the bar (which had open seats) and was told no, that we could not be accommodated. I then looked at Open Table, which had 330pm reservations open. So I booked that online and we returned 30 minutes later. The same exact host seated us at a loud spot, next to the silverware prep, overlooking the kitchen. It wasn’t a good spot and I do wonder about the host’s intentions. There was still plenty of open seating that remained open during our meal. But we enjoyed watching the kitchen - the grill and food prep and chefs very fun to observe. We waited 20 minutes and finally asked for a server so we could place a food order. The appetizer was good (burrata and beets). Our dirty plate sat next to us for 20 minutes. We ordered a wagyu dish and pasta. Our steak was served without silverware - my 10 year old asked a random passerby employee for forks and steak knives. We also had to ask for parm for our pasta and salt and pepper. I had to flag someone down to ask for a glass of wine. A pile of our dirty supper plates sat again for 20 more minutes. We were ignored for a while longer before I was able to gather our check. We saw our server when she took our initial order and when she delivered us a check. We were there 2.5 hours. The pasta and wagyu were fine but not great. Begging for attention and an Ok meal are not for me. There are so many superior options in Boston. We are polite diners and have had fabulous meals all over our city - Banks Fish, SAVR, Mama Maria. Even the other dining options at Eataly have been great. I am not sure what the deal was here, but we will not go back.

Terra at Boston Eataly was wonderful once again. A seat over looking the chefs as we requested. Quiet night but still energetic and fun. Excellent menu and awesome food and wine. We loved it and will be back. Thank you

Always love Eataly. The food is delicious and they have nice wine options. They were so accommodating when we showed up early and we didn’t feel rushed at all during our meal. Great service.

We really enjoyed eating at Terra. Very few down sides. We liked the decor but it could use freshening. Food was good but hard for food issues. For instance the broccolini cones with a hot sauce???? Broccoli is a staple for so many people. Leave it alone. I mean, if I had known, I could have special ordered. But I get so tired of special orders. Why can't they just have a few items that are statistically safe.

Overall, a good meal, and some of the best pasta dishes in Boston. Pork chop is also outstanding.
