   We chose Terra for my husbands birthday dinner because we had been before and loved the experience. From the jump, the hostess seemed annoyed at us for our large party (I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance). We weren’t seated until 30 minutes after our original reservation time. It took another 10 minutes before we saw a waiter. After we ordered our drinks & appetizers, it took another 20 minutes before anyone brought us waters, after waiting for another 25 minutes (45 total since originally ordering) we decided we’d have faster service if we sent someone to order us drinks at the bar. At such a pricey dining experience, we never should have had to do that. Our waters were never refilled unless we made a fuss about it. You would think with a party of 10 they would have more than 1 waiter to check on the table, but no. It was like we were forgotten in the back corner by the restrooms. Splitting the tab was an actual nightmare, when we mentioned from the start we would all be separate. The food was good, but we definitely won’t be returning. The service was unacceptable. When you are paying for a $200 meal per couple, you should not have to go to the bar to get drinks or beg people to bring you more water. Very disappointing.

   Waiter completely rushed us through dinner - hovering and asking us to make a decision on drinks appetizers and dinner within 5 minutes of us being seated. Explained we needed a minute to read the menu as we had never dined there before and asked for his recommendations. He literally came back 2 minutes later asking for a decision. The restaurant was almost empty as it was early on a Saturday night so I’m not sure why he was trying to push us through dinner. But even with us trying to stall and draw things out we were still done with dinner in less than an hour. For such an expensive restaurant I find this unacceptable especially when I told him three times to give us a moment. Food and atmosphere were excellent but service ruined the experience

   It is so overpriced. It is an Italian restaurant that doesn’t even offer bread complimentary, you have to pay for it.

   I was expecting an amazing experience, especially given the money we spent to dine upstairs. I’ve always enjoyed dining downstairs at the other restaurants, where everything has been exceptional. But this time, the presentation and service fell short. We waited 10 minutes just to be acknowledged, and the back-and-forth service made the experience frustrating, especially with children at the table. When I requested a bowl of strawberries for my daughter, who doesn’t eat cake or ice cream, I was disappointed to receive a tiny portion, especially considering the special setting. It felt like they completely missed the mark on making the food experience memorable. Florence

    Per il cibo sempre una garanzia, se si vuole mangiare Italiano all’estero. Abbiamo aspettato 25 min prima di essere seduti al tavolo nonostante avessimo prenotato.
