    Served incorrect entre, at first. Then corrected beet & burrata salad with grilled scallops. Burrata was inedible-sour, rancid. Just 4 scallops ($12). Mentioned /complaint to waitress. Apologies, “Will tell” the kitchen. Beyond, no alteration in the final billing.

    Normally the food is excellent. It was not. My meat was overcooked and dry and potatoes cold. My arugula and apple salad had no apples and no arugula. Only a weird unidentified leaf and unripe stone fruit. It was just a cluster of errors.

    Terrain used to be one of our favorite "celebration" restaurants. We ate there today, and were very disappointed. They have not increased their prices much in the last few years, but the quality of the food has really decreased - perhaps this is the balance the owners are going for. However, with so many great restaurants in the area, I don't know if this is the best bet. The bread is still great, and we liked some of the food, but we used to love it all. I'm pretty sure most of the items on the "dessert" sampler were made long ago and defrosted today. The hummus was almost runny, it was blended with so much water, the rolled lasagna was ok, but the raw scallion over powered the delicate flavors, the ice tea tasted like Lipton. The corn ribs were ok. The boneless short ribs with gnocchi was under seasoned - especially the gnocchi. The atmosphere is lovely (except the music on the patio - really doesn't fit the theme). The service is good, too - maybe a little inexperienced. Terrain needs to think about what it wants to be - a "theme" restaurant with mediocre food for weddings and instagram, or a destination.

    This is a delightful space full of beautiful plants. Great cocktail list and a simple but good wine list. The menu focuses on seasonal veggies to accompany different meat and fish dishes. I had the halibut which was good with a nice sauce but a little overcooked. My wife had grilled salmon which I tasted and it was delicious. We shared a mussels appetizer - very tasty. Lovely baked bread.
