   The food that all of us had was amazing. We had a burrata app and hummus. The lasagna roll up and quinoa bowl also so good, my friend had the halibut which came out SO small. It was almost ridiculous looking . We felt bad that her entree was so small . Not sure why a main dish was so tiny like that . That was disappointing. It’s beatiful there and the food is delicious.

   Food was fantastic. Service was poor. Our server never checked the table after we ordered food. Had to repeatedly waive her down. Finally went to the bar ourselves to get a second drink. Water was only refilled if we waived someone down. Restaurant was not crowded so no reason for poor service. Staff was chatting by the hostess station instead of focusing on customer service. Server was very nice.

   The ambience was incredible. The servers gave great recommendations and everything on the menu was so fresh and unique! We need to go back to try more entrees!

   The mushroom frittata was good but the grilled cheese had an absurd amount of the sauce dumped in the middle. I had to nibble around the edges because it was inedible. Also our server started out ok but then she didn’t return for at least 30 minutes after we had finished. We had planned to have dessert but skipped it because we’d been ignored for so long that we just wanted to leave.

   I asked the server for advice and my first choice she was very honest and said the chicken,pot pie was not consistent and there were often complaints about it. I truly appreciate an honest server even if it reflects poorly on the cooking staff. I got the frittata. The mushroom frittata had absolutely no taste, if it had fallen I’m sure it would have bounced it was so dry and rubbery, very few pieces of mushroom. The added cost avocado on top was tiny. My tablemate got a burger, asked for medium rare, when server repeated it back to her my friend said “yes but more on rare side.” When served she asked for mustard. The server said is grainy mustard ok? Yes. But the mustard never arrived. My friend finally ate it as delivered. It had a toothpick in it saying medium rare but it was well done and not because she waited about 5 minutes before starting to eat. I had never been to the Devon cafe and certainly won’t go back. I can’t recommend it to anyone.

   This was the worst experience. The hostess was extremely rude (white, blonde, wavy hair, 30ish). She refused to sit us because our reservation had 2 people, but we had our child. We put in the notes that we needed a 3rd chair for a child. She claims the restaurant didn't prepare to feed a 3rs person. A child. They didn’t prepare to feed a child. This is the most ridiculous excuse I've ever heard. We even said we'd fake a 2 seater table and pull up an extra chair. She made us wait 45 minutes. When I checked in on our wait, a different hostess could not believe she did that. After that, our meals were horrible. First, the artisanal cheese board had 4 cheeses, with 2 being gouda. The cut orange had peels with mold. The cheese was so cold it was nearly impossible to cut. Our main courses were just as bad. The terrain breakfast egg was requested as fried. It was solidified. A fried egg has a yoke. It was rubber. The sausage was hard. There were 5 edible potatoes, and the rest were scraps that were hard and burnt. The frittata was a sponge and the same problem with the potato hash. The Ceasars salad was $14 and super small. It was full of romaine hearts. It had 3 croutons. Thank god we got chicken on it, but it was the cheapest breast of chicken with a huge piece of grizzle. Half of it couldn't be eaten. Adding the chicken was $21. A total rip-off. In the end, we ended up spending $190 for a horrible meal. We will never dine at Terrian again.

   My daughter and I went for brunch and everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until we left. Our waitress, Queen, was so nice and attentive. Drinks were amazing and food delicious. And the bread served in the flower pot with lemon poppy butter was the best.
